The very last email either I or my support team have from you is dated July 16, 2004. says how excited you were with everything and that the program was, in YOUR words, "brilliant". We have NEVER heard a thing back from you since that time. Nothing.

We do not and never have ignored customer emails. To the best of our knowledge and based on your last communication, we assumed you were one happy customer. Amazing how a year later suddenly I'm reading what is a COMPLETE 180. I am not a person who releases private communications so I will not do so. But yes, last time we heard from you you were one excited happy camper.

Looking in my Mail Washer your addy is still listed in my white list and I use my own hosting server for mail so mail come in unfiltered, so there's no way I nor my support team would not get an email from you either. So I honestly do not understand the Jekyll and Hyde routine. If you came with us with a problem, you would have been answered within 48 hours and we would have worked on a solution for you.

The only problem to my knowledge any of us had was with your partner who wanted to play "bitch slap" because he couldn't understand Hong Kong time was not the same Eastern US time. I told you then that I would not answer any of HIS emails as he was belligerent. You even admited at the time that "he likes to come on too strong at times", and had no problem being the person open for communicating.

In fact, I am only guessing that this is Daniel. Maybe you are the belligerent other partner. That would explain the tenor of your post. :)

In any event, my door remains -- as it has always been -- open to your (Daniel) communications.

We do NOT and never have engaged in false advertising. Anything that is on the site that it says it does, it does. Anything not mentioned, it probably doesn't do. I have no idea what features you may have expected it to have, but if it isn't (or wasn't) on the site at the time, then it did not have it.

(I also was never made aware of any feature in any communications from you that anything was lacking or not expected. In fact you asked many questions prior to purchase -- which I have always strongly encouraged -- as to particulars.)

Here in this forum, you can see how I am VERY UPFRONT in telling, as I did to Greg, any "minuses" or as yet unsupported features. I do that on the website as well. Anyone can go to the site now (or could have gone to it a year ago, two years ago, time makes no difference) and see that what we say it does, IT DOES. And we also plainly say on the site what it does NOT do. What I mentioned to Greg above that it doesn't do it listed on the site FAQ as well. That is how we do things.

Funny, such full disclosure is actually uncommon, I have found, when most people are selling products or services. They try to hide the flaws. That's not lying when people do that. One can argue whether or not that grey area of not being forthcoming is being dishonest or not; but it's not disceptive. Either way, that's NOT how I run things. I have always found putting forth one's minuses or features one lacks saves problems in the end. It's how I do business, as Lee and others here can attest.

If anything, I've gotten into more crap being an honest, straight-shooter in this industry; if I had the temprament of a crook and not caring, I would have saved myself much anquish time and time again. But hey, that's not how I'm made, that's not how I do business. I do it up-and-up and have a eight-year-plus reputation on the Net and in this industry for that.

So sorry, but I totally disagree with you and again respectfully demand that you retract your errorneous statement about us ever promising something that wasn't there. And I mean that in the most strenuous of terms, Suki. I will NOT stand by and have you spread lies about my business. Hong Kong be damned, it will not allow you to hide from legal action if I am so inclined.

Greg, that is not in Content God, nor, to my knowledge in any other adult CMS I am aware of. That is a very customized solution.

I'm sure we can do anything you want customized, if you are willing to pay for it. Even though Content God is a Perl application, this sounds like something that might work better (the add-on) as a PHP-based solution. And yes that still means we could do it. Probably tie something in where both the Perl creation software and a PHP-based customer side solution that could tie in with the MySQL table.

As I already have your email address, would you like me to talk to my programmer and work up a quote for you, Greg?

I wouldn't know about AWW anymore. Since I last looked at their site which was open but demo only after a sales call, it now says their entire site is "invite-only" :wtf: ... so whatever features they have are no longer publicly viewable.

There is no false statement there Drav. When I purchased your product, I was told that it handled video. After it was installed, it was explained that video would be coming .in the next update, which never came. The scheduling update that is being "programmed now" sounds exactly like the update I was told that would follow video, which never came.

In any event, my opinion remains the same. It is a crap product, dont buy it.

You purchased Content God in April, 2004. Video capability was under development at that time. It was released in December, after we encountered several delays during programming and testing.

I don't know who told you that Content God "handled video" when you purchased it, but it wasn't us.

When you bought 2.x version, the site said it did not contain video. It also said it would in the next version. And those were both true, it didn't at the time, it was on the site, and 3.x now does.

Looking again at the back correspondences, in your emails with me expressed much interest in the video component coming along in the next version. However you never once said you bought it thinking video was in there. I said the video component would be in the next full major version (not in the next "minor update") and it indeed was.

There wasn't any discussion on when the never version would be out. One can never tell with these things. It ended up coming out six to eight months later. (I won't release something unless it works precisely as it should. I'd rather have something take a little longer and have additional quality control checks run through it then rush just any old thing out to market.)

Nothing to do with me, but getting aggressive with a client that is not happy man is not a way to do business in my book.

If the client is not aware of something or a miss-communication takes places then it's up to you to document that and handle it all you can so it does not happen again, IMHO you just handled that very un-professionally.

That shows to me, if I have a miss-understanding of your product I will get the same treatment so you did just un-sold me.

I know so many so called business people call clients STUPID, I don't have one client that is stupid, but I have lots that need guidance or have lack of knowledge and by giving them that they can give back in return.

Greg, I have been accused of false advertising from a client who has not corresponded with me in nearly a year. False advertising is something that is not only tortable, civil law, but also faces criminal charges. What he said is SERIOUS charges. And they are against both myself and my company.

This is not the Net of six years ago with a bunch of little webmasters saying anything they want. This is business. This is serious. I will most certainly defend myself and my reputation and that of my company when someone comes off here spouting lies. When someone who last I communicated with was a very happy customer, and suddenly pops up a year later saying that we lie, the product is a piece of crap, telling stories 180 of how they actually happened.

This is not me talking to a "normal" customer. This is not a person coming to me as a normal client, saying they have a problem, and my doing my best of fix it. This is out of the blue and someone telling the exact opposite of how things happened, maligning my reputation and my company and my product and my name, Greg.

There is an there was no miscommunication. The site has always been upfront. That video was not in 2.x was documented, Greg. That updating is not in 3.x is on the site and documented and mentioned in this thread by me, Greg.
