Yes you would be right I have a do buy DVD, Videos, Movies, Images/Videos combos, and yes I have live feeds, AEBN, and a few others feed companies stuff that update weekly, but that is it. In fact just yesterday I got 700$ in content, more than ½ of than was from Don. Bass just like to say pointed stuff like that, but it is not true, no wonder when she says I should not say my live feeds are 24/7 like about 95% of everyone online does say even Lee, I do not lesson to her. Look Bass I really do not want to get in a argument with you, I did not start this. But its obvious to me you like to take shots at me that you know are not true in public.

i don't know why you think that.

there are several threads where you tell us very clearly that your site is all plugins. you have told us you started to buy content but very recently said your site is still plugins. so if you even more recently added some videos to your site, i had not heard of it. i expected we WOULD hear about it since you have kept us in the loop about your content till now more than any other webmaster on the site.

other than that, most of what i've said is more about my knowledge base than anything to do with your site or you in any way. i DID say you don't take advice - but i'm far from the only person on gww who has said that.

I never said my site is all Feeds, even from the very start of this site. Yes at one time I did have more feeds than I do now so I could concentrate more on promoting my own site, but I that was never true. As far as lessening to people yes sometimes I really do, and sometimes I do not. It just depends, sometimes I do have to look at the motives of why some people say thing, and how successful they have been with their sites in the past and that just add to the weight of their statements to me

Well man i did have some concerns about the whole twink thing with CCbill just like 1/2 of the people that voted in the poll. And you are right I do watch the money I spend I am building a site, so I need what is best for me today, as far as paying another 750$ for a processor or just getting more content with that money for my viewers. I am open to what is said, in fact I got the disk drive just the other day that I was advised to get, but I would not say I would take every statement made to me to hart with out challenging it at all.

I usually get a good read on people. Poker helped me do that. You I have no idea what you are about and if you even know what is involved in creating a paysite.

It loosk like you want to be a big player, but on the other hand it seems like you don't know the first fucking thing about what you are doing.

And it appears you have no idea of the cost involved in setting up a paysite that webmasters will actually want to promote.

In my opinion, budget $10,000 for startup based on what i think you want to do at $30. You are not in a niche like voyeur, bears, asian, bondage, wrestling, uncut, or any other where someone will just fork over $30 bucks. YOU NEED CONTENT AND LOTS OF IT. AND YOU FUCKING BETTER HAVE EXCLUSIVE CONTENT IF YOU WANT TO KEEP A MEMBER.

A twink site is probably one of the most expensive startup ventures you can undertake. The market is saturated. MOST new twink sites have a twist. A theme. AND HARDCORE IS NOT A TWIST. I am so sick of seeing one cute guy get fucked by another guy I dont like and seeing the shit on the condom as its pulled out. Or even worse the Babeback cobra stuff that just point the camera at a dirty ass while someomes getting fucked bareback.

Most webmasters that I have worked with in the past that started a site have been promoting other sites in a nice that they know inside and out. They may have bought 100-200 sets of content and created feeder sites and galleries and whatever. Then they put the content they already had and had already made money on it into a small paysite with a few feeds and gave it their personal touch. Started small at like $15 and as the site grew and they added more content and found photographers that did exclusive work, they grew and upped the price and started another site.

My friends at boyorgasm.com started this way. they grew and photographers actually contacted them.

BUT, they never complained about text, bitched about setup fees, stole content. And to be honest i dont think they posted on the boards unless it was a quick question.

Look at Hammerheads posts. He comes on, asks a question, get advice, thanks whoever gave it, and goes to work on the advice.

Many people do not know me now as many got in as I was getting out. But those who know me know I offer advice very freely. Sometimes I don't explain myself well in a quick post.

I mean my own business plan for just one project I am working on is 10 pages long. And I just spent 40 hrs writing a 20 page proposal of a project that I am doing with the guys at gossamer threads that's going to cost me at leat 30 fucking thousand dollars, because I refuse to outsource to India.

To be honest 80% of the plugins are useless. AEBN theaters are ok as long as you don't go for the low bandwith. Squirts is cool. Montreal boys is ok, not great. The topbucks feed are half decent. But almost everything else sucks. Trust me I know every gay feed out there. I know what deal you can get if you ask for them. And Ctiboyz is ok as well.

You mention Lee's site about the live shows. Ok. Great. Create a half page ad like his tours are and link to a join page. If you think just because he's the moderator of this site everything he does is right, then good for you.

Very few people will give out secrets. Bass has given you more advice for FREE than most people will. AND IT'S GOOD ADVICE.

I have consulted with three major affiliate programs. One Bedfellow was one of the first big players. The other two are big players as well. I have created two different affiliate programs and am currently in a partnership with one. I have created over 10,000 feeder sites and market over 200 different sites with all kinds of traffic. I am not saying this to brag, but saying this because even with all the shit i done in this business, What you are doing with this site I would never think of doing. It's just common sense that you acquire in this business.

My goal posting here is to make friends. To get advice when I need it. And to offer advice to those that I hope to earn their respect.

Eversince I joined this board this person stood out - but rather not with wisedom or friendlyness. I have not seen such an arrogant person during my days as a moderator in a law-forum in germany. Most of the lawyers I got to know here in germany are somewhat arrogant and they worked for it - they were successfull and had every right in being either a friendly guy, a pain in the butt or dead arrogant - but none of them were learn-hindered.

I choose for myself to not reply to anything Sean is posting since it would only waste my time in a) reading his random postings b) replying to him in any way c) wanting to read when he repleatedly puts down people or insults people.

Most of you do think the same apparently but still you try to help him and still get turned away as inferior - why bother? Isn't it wasted time to show somebody how it may work after he asked but still does not even try to evaluate the criticisms and hints someone gives?

Fuck, right now for all i know you have only $600 in Maxpixels content besides your plugins. As for DVD's I though you had them already. And encoding and advertising them for ipods will make sense. Even if a Magzine like Xbiz decides to do a feature on sites w/ Ipod downloads and they see yours. But you just blew the ideea off and said its too much time. It takes aboout hardly eny more time when you are encoding.

Seriously, hire someone that know the gay market to consult you on the tour. It will be money well spent.

Its not that I am trying to blow off your idea of the ipod man, it that I have so much on my plate already its going to be at least 2-3 months before I can think about doing anything new at all. I do have some DVD and update my movie section 3 times a month. But like today all I am doing is creating a page to tell my designers all the changes in images, cut-outs, graphics, text, the way the flash is operating, idea on how I am going to organize my members area ECT and that’s just what I am doing today. DEVELISH - for a while, i had maxpower on ignore and it was peaceful, no doubt. but this is supposed to be a community and i kept seeing the guy asking questions. i feel that everyone deserves help, no matter who.

also other webmasters read the threads hoping to find answers to those same questions, which is a strong reason to answer them. although his responses are usually pretty poor, his question seem like the type of thing starting paysite owners would like to know. by not answering sean, i felt we were not answering the other people who read his threads.

this is how i deal with other non-community oriented members on other boards. with most of them, it works fine. they may get more info than they deserve, but the other people reading the board have answers and if the main poster doesn't see the point of those answers, i don't have to close myself out from part of a community.

it's very hard on a community to ignore one of the people who posts the most. it makes using the board less fun, less spontaneous. it makes threads where that person appears difficult as other people are talking to them.

OK I have rewritten some of the text now, does anyone have some last minute changes they think I should make? Its just that creating text is not really what I would call my strongest area, so any constructive help would be greatly appreciated. BTW I will be adding more personally text with the preview videos, its just that I am trying to get the more general text out of the way first.

Just my opinion -- Boyfunk is in the "18-20" niche and so I have some knowledge in this area -- but in my book, you're treading way too close to the CP line.

Well one of the reasons I say the words teen boys, boys, and such in the text is because of the name. I already have Twink and Guy on every page in big flash letters, so in a way I am just trying to add the others to the text. If the site was called Teen Boy I would probably say Twinks in the text more than I have.

The key words in this case are "barely legal." When you say that, even with high school guys, you're talking about seniors who are 18. When you say "sweet young twinks" or "just old enough to take it up the ass" you are not nearly as clear -- a 14 year old could take it up the ass, but couldn't of course legally appear in adult content.

I understand its just to me we are in the same boat, if they are going to come after me about what I said you would be standing right next to me. When you say "sweet young twinks" or "just old enough to take it up the ass" you are not nearly as clear -- a 14 year old could take it up the ass, but couldn't of course legally appear in adult content.

See its not the school boys thing that bothers me about this, its that he said all this about my fraises when he has worse on his own site. I really do believe its really easy to throw around the whole CP thing, but damn normally the people that do that do not run a site that is attracting pedophiles/ephebophiles or encouraging that sort of behavior much more than I am.
