netscape 7.2.5 for the mac.
it might not be the cookies at all I seem to have seen a thread about this.

I see more Spammers have been brought to the board by doing this.

I think their has to be a better way to "clean up" then delete accounts that dont post. I am sure there is a login record, I really dont care if some people dont post. Some people's posts just lower my IQ after I read them... :P

but i can tell you it's a pain in the ass! what ever it is. members should not have to logon everytime they come here. weekly would be good even daily but not everytime you come to read...

Yes it is a forum setting but, that isnt what it is set at which is what im not understanding.

As i have already said, you DONT have to log in everytime you visit GWW, the cookie length is set to 12 months.

That is why i am more inclined to beleive that it is a local problem with your settings unless anyone else can confirm they also have the same issues.

Hi,

I'm not sure why I got the warning about my account being inactive for 3 months. I've only been a member a couple of months and have posted a couple of times. Anwya, I'm in Prague shooting scenes so I hope my account won't be deleted this time around.

Looking at your post count (to the left of your message) that was your first post and you registered a little over 3 months ago which is why you received the email it loosk like :)

Haven't had any constructive comments to add recently, but I have digested quite a lot of other board members posts, most of which I have found quite stimulating.

Email updates normally inspire me to log in and have a rout about. They'll sadly be missed if I'm excluded, but I suppose I'll survive there's loads of info out there ....

House cleaning from time to time makes sense. But how about an explanation why this notification has been sent to folks that post on a regular basis.

I got this notification this morning. After reading your reasons for supposedly sending it to me, I saw none that applied. I Immediately wrote back to you and have yet to receive a response.
