Last time i did geography in school it was located between Hungary and Italy (i think lol)

If you carefully read my post, and assuming you can comprehend english, you will note that I never said Yugoslavia was an Eastern Block Country. I simply said that Slovenia was part of Yugo right after WWII.
And, unless you are only reading revisionist history books provided by your government, you would know that Yugo (Socialist) did answer to the Soviet Union until they went for their independence.
My response was tounge in cheek, not intended to start antother cold war.
Lighten up and go farm some potatoes.
Thanks for the kind words... off I go, I just saw some more free land where I can grow my own potatoes... I think it's called Idaho...:cheerleader:
Just to prove you have no idea what your anglo-saxon ass is talking about... here's your history FROM WIKIPEDIA (are they revisionist also????):
"The country distanced itself from the Soviets in 1948 (cf. Cominform and Informbiro) and started to build its own way to socialism under the strong political leadership of Josip Broz Tito. The country criticized both Eastern bloc and NATO nations and, together with other countries, started the Non-Aligned Movement in 1961, which remained the official affiliation of the country until it dissolved."
I hope you know we are just giving you shit! We love our Slovanian brothers in arms in the fight against the Man.
All I can say is "Dober dan". I hope I said that right.
And as far as Idaho goes...I think they have Nazis up there...or at least skinheads...so I would try to steer clear.
:catfight: :whip:
1. I distance myself from Bush, but he is still our ruler.
Sometimes a frog is a frog. Live with it.
My anglo-saxon ass retracts my previous peaceful post above intended to end this thread and now declares a hostile state of cyber cold war exists between us. :glasses:
Good thing we dont have missles. :bomb:
:vampire: And by the way, isn't Slovenia where Dracula came from? Or do I have that wrong too?
:p
Why do you think that is?
I am thinking maybe it is because content is so expenisve to produce here in the "free world" that it only makes sense to keep it exclusive...whereas in former Eastern Bloc countires (excluding Slovenia which we know was never Eastern Bloc, just Eastern Aligned) you can hire a cart of boys for what it costs to get one here.
Just a thought.
This is true, but the problem I see is this shows their is Not much money in non-exclusive content, or the English stuff most viewers really want. Hate to see every webmaster be foremost a photographer only able to make it by finding new models each week. Not that I have a problem with this, but it would be nice if we had more of a selection of non exclusive content to work with.
I do want to start doing photography too, but just don’t want to see being a "Webmaster" become just a hat a photographer might put on from time to time
:offtopic: Try not to associate skinheads with Nazis, they are completely different. Look up SHARP's
I don't mean to be so critical but I've spent the last 6 years of my life with my head shaved and I hate being confused for a racist.
Interesting read. I had never heard of SHARP before. Interesting the last line in that wikipedia article though...
I think though in the context of my earlier post, it was clear that I was implying that the skinhead variety in Idaho is most likely the bad kind, not the good kind. Sorry to lump them all together.Quote:
The New York chapter of SHARP split, and some of the members formed RASH (Red and Anarchist Skinheads) after a group of anti-racist, but homophobic, members of SHARP assaulted a homosexual. RASH was officially launched on January 1, 1993.
Man, this thread got seriously off track! Looks like we took a wrong turn somewhere in eastern Europe, or was that Idaho? Being an American, and of course, bad on world geography, I guess it's understandable that I can't tell the difference. :)
And what would any thread be without the obligatory summarily dismissive statement from Lee? Sigh...
I don't think that Brad was saying that everybody in the industry thinks about his program. He simply stated that several people at trade shows have made a remark about his program being bad for the industry, and posted a thread here asking our opinion.
Actually Marshall Tito was quite well known for not only being a communist, but a rather staunchly anti-Soviet communist at that. Anti-Stalin, most of all. Similar, in a general sense, to China (another communist country but that, all along, viewed the USSR as a much greater threat to their national security than the US, even). Whereas Yugoslavia was communist, they had closer relations with the West and NATO during Stalin's rule and were prominently non-aligned after Stalin.
But anyways. :P
BTW, throughout the top of my "Places to Visit Before I Die" list are beautiful cities throughout Eastern Europe - Prague, Bucharest, Budapest, Warsaw, and even parts of the former Yugoslavia (Slovenia and Croatia).
Especially Prague! :)
You've gotta love those extremely beautiful men in Eastern Europe :bananacock:
What was the topic of this thread? Can't even remember
Absolutely! Do I get to go to one of your guys' parties?! :D
I'm sure we could squeeze you there in somewhere :) :cheekymonkey: :bananacock: :gossip: :luke: :cheekymonkey: :donmike: :bunny: :bananacock: But bring "Jeff" :) hehe
if nobody here knows who brad shaw is, perhaps it's time to leave this board and go among the other webmasters for a bit. ken, as a writer in adult, you certainly should know a lot about who brad is. he doesn't deserve to be belittled - he has accomplished what many webmasters set out to do but so few succeeed at.
brad shaw has been around forever. i remember back when his program was still shaw internet consulting rather than siccash and he was challenging people to fight at the next convention. brad is smart, stubborn and knows his way around. he owns 2 programs and a successful webmaster board. he is also the person responsible for a full affiliate suite - executive stats - and i believe a cms as well. he has produced content for such small unknown programs as ars - he's not the biggest name in adult but he's pretty big.
and this is only what i know about him and his program.
This thread was so unruly because it was about the same old barebacking crap that most of us at this point no longer give a crap about either way. He was kind of whinny about it too, but its was fun to have a free flowing thread. ;)
I feel like I just walked into kindergarten thread :scared:
LMMFAO @ SHARPS. Serious question for you, do you also wear boots and a flight jacket? Or just sport the shaved head? Am not talking shit in any way. Growing up here in orange county and being a long hair I had to "deal" with skinheads on MANY occasions. This is the first I have ever heard of SHARPS.
Just wondering. --Chubbs
