I just checked out one of my titles (Which is supposed to be pulled from your site): "Nathan Ryan - Fleshlight Fun" and it rotates.

I did talk to my rep and he claims you are very incorrect. I pointed him to this thread.

How can they pay you if they earn nothing? If they paid you X for each 15-minute free promo they'd go broke. EVERY webmaster would be giving away thousands of minutes a day.

If you think about it, it kinda makes sense that they wouldn't pay on that. I mean, the free stuff is a promotion of the producers content. I can understand this. I am sure the arguement will be about the small percentage that the producer gets, however when you think about the marketing costs that AEBN has spent, and what they do to market content, and the money they pay out for hosting, bandwith and affiliates, it all seems to add up to the percent that is theirs.

Eh, who cares if it rotates, its 15 seconds, if someone is going to set their and every 15 seconds hit refresh to see another clip and jerk off to some free porn, its not a person that is ever going to pay anyway IMO.

You nailed this one. The world is divided into 2 groups... those who pay for porn and those who don't and never will.

I'm very pleased that AdultRental today decided to "experiment" with no longer offering free demos / previews.

I appreciate the comments by successful producers here who reinforced my position - and strengthened my experience of finding free demos / previews to have a negative affect on sales.

Whether the straight producers will support this effort by AdultRental remains to be seen. Perhaps free demos / previews helps straight producers... but at least AdultRental is being responsible to my request as a gay producer, that free demos / previews hurts male VOD.

I'm all for a few free pics, but free video is an oxymoron.
