Hi ya'll,
First, I apologise in the delay of getting back to you on here, had to take my nephew back, but am now back at my place. i hope you can understand it has been pretty crazy over here with all the driving back and forth. Some of you know me from other boards, but basically for those that dont, i had lost my home in Austin back in June and had to relocate a bit closer to Houston, but my brother and his son are still living in Austin, so i go back and forth a lot.
Second, WOW. Just WOW. i am so impressed with you people who did this, whatever your individual motivations were.. just, THANK YOU SO MUCH!!
Just goes to show that one person can make a difference ... and that person is each and every one of you that helped.
I know that hearing "Thank you" sometimes loses its value in today's world, but I hope it helps to tell you SINCERELY, just how much this meant.
You didn't have to, and its very humbling, but really, THANK YOU.
I was so surprised, especially with Lloyd's incredible donation. But really, all of you have been able to do more in spirit than I can tell you.
To the people that have asked me to contact them - i will be contacting you soon. I am very grateful to everyone for their part in making things happen here, and if any of you ever need something that I can help with, please holler at me.
This money will be going toward's my brothers fund. I really want to try to make something good happen for him in the limited amount of time we have to work with.
I know some of you had asked me about the other chipin I mentioned before, but I haven't had time to set it up yet, if you want to be notified when I get that page up for the kayaking trip, i will be so grateful, please email me at rsydcolvin [at] jaguarmediagroup.com
Again, i do appreciate the offers of work, as I can really use extra income right now to help my brother, but as to any design work, I’ve decided to let my friend Jim Jamesson over at groovywebdesign.com handle all of the graphic design work for me, mainly due to the fact that my forte is more of an adminstrator/manager than it is for design work. I happened to be taking all kinds of odd jobs earlier in the year when i was losing my home, which is why I was building free site designs for people and things like that, but I really am looking for a stable job doing something more in my element, so if anyone would like to take a look at my resume, here's a link (hope this works) http://jaguarmediagroup.com/RESUME_OF_SYDNEY_.pdf
I also do mainstream projects, mainly in SEO, i have this website setup here for my mainstream front http://jaguarmediagroup.com/
though that work is very far and between.
I will of course consider all offers for anything that I am able to do. ive setup a lot of seo networks as well, but that kind of thing people are usually not looking for in these economicly pressured times. I can do copywriting, as well. But, I totally understand if you guys dont have anything for me along what I am really able to offer, but dont feel bad, if you do need design work, I should tell you that my good friend Jim Jamesson is doing any design work I send his way with some of the proceeds going to Christopher, my brother.
I can handle all of the communication if you prefer, or you can contact him directly at www.groovywebdesign.com - he is an awesome designer!
If anyone needs references from my past jobs or wants to see specific samples that jim's done for my past clients, just let me know!
For anyone who does hire Jim for a design job in the spirit of generating donations for my little brother, please mention me, and Jim will make sure a donation from that job goes towards my brother's fund that we are setting up.
I am closing out the chipin for Lee's debt now, its a done deal, baby seals. Thanks very much you guys.
THANK YOU SO, SO, SO MUCH!!!!
Sincerely,
Sydney
