They've been having problems getting broadcasters to carry both channels. I'm not sure which one shaw is carrying, we've got pridevision on bellexpress I actually only watch it occassionally -- haven't checked it out since they changed the lineup actually.

It's doing a count down to launch now with music and images of gay people flashing by. :goof:

I'm just messin' with ya. You know that. I don't think it will be that bad. It was that one reporter at the Pride parade. And yeah, again, it's the media. They may have very insightful programmin, I don't know yet, but when it comes to news it's all about flashy and wild. Oh well.

Comcast and MTV Networks, today announced that they have reached an affiliation agreement for Logo, a new network from MTVN offering entertainment programming for the gay and lesbian community. Under the agreement, Comcast will add Logo to its Digital Plus cable package in select markets over the next 90 days. They will also add LOGO OnDemand as a expanded pay service. No information on which select areas that LOGO and LOGO OneDemand will launch in.

So what would I need to get this?

I have Comcast Cable internet, but I don't have a TV, and no cable television from.

If I was to get a cable TV connection, what would I have to do after that?


I should point out that I most likely wouldn't get it, because living in West Hollywood is pretty much all the gay content I can take... but I'm interested in how many hoops I'd have to jump through should I want to see more reruns of Wonder Woman.

lol, well i'm not sure how comcast works, as I have cablevision. Now I get all 255 chans that they offer. So I pay a huge amount of money for it. But lets say the only chan I cared about having was LOGO. Then The least amount that I would have to pay to get LOGO which is a digital cable network, would be around $28 a month. That would include only my 38 local broadcast chans, The 50 or so digtal cable chans, and the cost of the digital cable box rental.

Cablevision don't require that you purchase what is know as "Basic Cable" or "Family Cable" to get digtal cable, Comcast might be different. My cable bill is like $155 a month with everything, including all the ondemand chans, interactive cable services, and DVR.

It's like a Tivo knockoff, but it's made by cablevision, it stands for digital video recorder. It allows me to record shows, pause, rewind, and fast forward live tv. I can also enter a actors name, it it will automaticly record every show or movie that person is in. It's pretty cool.

I just don't like TV enough to pay even $50 a month for it.

It would be cool to be able to see the cable stations with those Motorcycle Makeover shows and Jesse James' show, but not for that much.

I'll call them, though, my BF might be interested in the food network.

I'll just buy a few more books and have done with it.

Damn, Comcast sounds pricey.
