And I have to admit, when I first read "They is UGLY," I had the same reaction that Patti did, but I didn't want to say anything about it b/cuz I didn't want to presume to prescribe erreneous intentions behind it. I certainly don't think you are a racist, but I did think your choice of wording was just a little suspect.

Well, it's one way to word it as you did..and another to handle it the way Patti is handling it.

Okay, gonna lock this thread, no need for drama, Slade, if you want to, you can PM Patti and work things out between yourselves :)

No need for others to be dragging themselves in to this and, for the record, i also did think of it the same way that Patti and Ken thought you meant it even though it is now clear that wasnt your intention, im sure if you contact Patti in private you guys will be able to work things out, neither of you is an unreasonable person and im sure you can understand where she was coming from as she now understands where you were coming from :)
