I only work at home i don't get out of the house to work hehe
Haha. Did you get the Schoolhouse Rock! Rocks CD that came out a few years back, with all the bands doing covers of those songs? There was also a CD that came out with songs from all the Saturday morning shows. Liz Phair does the "Tra La La" song. Fun stuff on there. No one does "Mechanical Boy," but the Murmurs do the theme song from "H.R. Puffnstuff." (The blonde in the band, Leisha or something like that, is now on The L Word.)Quote:

Will from Land of the Lost -- who was such a fuckin' hottie -- apparently grew up to be a psychotic fag, from what I hear. But I have no idea if that's grounded in truth, or if it's just a rumor. But I probably wouldn't have kicked him out of bed for boiling bunnies. :)
Okay, Dart, that's scary. LOL! I wish you could get those on DVD. But you know, I'd probaby hate them now. LOL!
Ken, I had both of those CDs. I don't know if I still do. I've lost many great CDs and DVDs in my treck from PA to LA and in the various moves since. The Schoolhouse Rock cover CD was a real disappointement. Even Daniel Johnson, whom I usually love, did a terrible cover. And the guys who covered "Interplanet Janet" managed to suck all the life out of what would have been a really good pop-punk song.
The Saturday Morning CD, on the other hand, was amazing. The Ramones doing Spiderman? I mean, it just doesn't get better than that? The Murmer's did a great job with the Puffnstuff theme. And while the Dickies did a much better punk rock version of the Banana Splits song, Liz Phair and Material Issue did a pretty damn good version themselves.
Hmmm, I'm gonna need to dig that out, if I still have it, and add it to my Ipod.
Ok now let me add to this topic. . .
. . .which fag remembers:
"Oh zephyr winds which blow on high, lift me now so I can fly!!!"
I actually enjoyed some of the disc. I liked Blind Melon's cover of "Three Is the Magic Number." I think there were a few others, but by and large, it wasn't brilliant or anything.Quote:

I am shocked that so may of you have other jobs, hell I don’t have time to do anything but smut peddling, that has been my only job for over 4 years.
Man, I wish I didn't have to sleep!
I work at a shitty call center fulltime (hopefully not for long), taking 3 computer classes, AND trying to get this adult site thing going! It's all a bit much right now, I gotta try to do other things when I can, but that's not possible most of the time.
Hopefully, I can start enjoying the fruits of my labor soon and not have to work as much.
Now....time to get some sleep.
My other fulltime job is trying to keep my housework done and the dogs fed.
My favorite Saturday morning cartoon was The Bugs Bunny and Road Runner show. Followed by Land of the Lost.
OMG, I used to love Land of the Lost!!! Remember that one where they were in this wierd cave and came upon a rip in time and watched themselves go down the waterfall over and over and over again. They were able to go home through that portal but only by stranding their other selves from the other timeline in the land of the lost. It was pretty deep stuff for a Saturday morning kid's show.Quote:

I'm temporarily laidoff due to our cold Canadian winters. Shucks! Sleeping in and relaxing for 3-4months is rough ;)
