AEBN - has been down and I did buy feeds from them and had co'brands with them until I saw the down time and then I have to call..

they should call me and say something like, Hey I noticed our servers went down last night for 1 hour, I have pro-rated your account and look forward to your loose of biz statement from canceled members and new members.

I always had to call them for this. I recommend that all affiliates/webmasters use a third party to track and verify the details of your efforts. It works for me, I only promote sites that are up and pay.

that's why I use http://XonDemand.com to create my custom VOD needs.

I am really not trying to bitch too much, and do like your feeds, as well as hope they all work right next month, but I do not see why you would have to take down a movie or all the movies to fix that problem. Just cut-up the segments, upload the files to your domain, then just change the links “the same would work to fix the problem at the start of the month just do it a few days earlier” I do not see why you would have to take down anything, or interrupt a viewers watching the movies for more that 10 minuets. “doing it at 2AM would help too” :penny:

Well I am still waiting on a phone call from my Rep. at AEBN. Even after they had e mailed me and said that he would call.

Has everyone else had there stuff fixed yet?

Their leased feeds were updated this month without any problems. It was quite nice not to deal with members complaining and canceling.

Looks like its working good for me too now, but I wish we would get a break on our bandwidth charges that this previous “mistake” caused. For me I jumped up about 25g in bandwidth because of their error. :shifty:

Just email them and they will take care of those charges. There is no reason you should have to pay extra bandwidth charges for their error.

Ya thax man, my bandwidth was really more than 25G over, but it was 25g over my program. I did e-mail them about that already, all they have to do is e-mail me back LOL, but I have not paid then yet, and will not until they talk to me :sneak:
