Didn't mean nothin' by my comment. Just that it seemed really odd that it garnered this much of a discussion. But hey, it's a free country. Feel free to talk about Ms. Spear's head as much as you like. God knows I've waxed ecstatic about lesser things. LOL!

eh I hope I didn't sound angry in that last post. I was excited and I suck at expressing myself in type :dolt:

It's funny watching Fox here.. they just keep going on about it every day like she's a fallen angel and symbol of troubled youth.

That's what someone told me anyway. I really don't follow Britney. I have never felt anything but indifference toward her. She's never had anything of particular relevance or importance to say. She was just some girl with a good body flashing her tits and thinking she was making a statement about feminism. But as much as she claims that she was influenced by Madonna, she never understood that with Madonna, there was a sense of irony and a very precise plan that was being acted out. I don't think Britney ever gave any thought to what she was doing, other than, "Oh, wouldn't it be cool for me to dance with a snake in a sexy outfit on MTV?"

Can't stand her music, either.

But... you gotta feel for her. She was thrust into the spotlight at such an early age, and she's never had an opportunity to live out an adolescence. She did stupid things like get married too young, have kids too young, and now she's going through her adolescence and her wild years in the public spotlight, and it's really sad. Especially for her kids.
