I don't think I have ever heard anyone rant and rave about the quality of their cell phone carrier-- only bitching. "I hate (carrier)! They always drop my calls! As soon as my contract is done I am switching to (other carrier)!!
Or, "I love the service I have. I never lose a connection, but it only works in Rhode Island."
I use T Mobile because it works almost everywhere in the world, and I do travel all over. The reception is mediocre.
Does anyone have really good call connection with their mobile phone AND have a phone that works everywhere? US, Canada, EU, and SE Asia??
Hmm, so nice he said it twice. :hippy:
Sorry~~:crybaby:
could you imagine LOSING one of these things? Makes my knees weak just thinking about it.
Their is no way Im going to pay 500 for a phone and then anther 60 a month for service and its on at&t
I would get one in a blink of the eye, except for 2 reasons: 1) It operates on the slow AT+T data network, and 2) it does not work in Europe.
It is a $500 cellphone, just as my Treo a year ago was $400... the minimum monthly would be basically the same as my current Nokia for voice plus $10 for data (up to $30 for ultd data)...
The GPS component to me would be worth the price to get the iPhone rather than a Garmin or Tom Tom.
When I have decided my plans to shoot in Europe, and figured out the best phone or phones to work in USA and Europe, then I will get an iPhone.
My computer network has 4 Macs and one VISTA machine, so the iPhone would immediately sync with calendar, e-mail and more.
There are already rumors in the tech circles going around that the iPhone 2.0 will be launched in time for Christmas and all of the add-ons, like the GPS will be 'standard' on the V2 phone.
