I kinda hate seeing how everyone is jumping on this affiliate for requesting to be paid. He is not the first affiliate that has complained about being paid by gaybucks, he is far from it. However, you see some other boards removing those threads. Its kinda sad really. Even GayDemon had issues being paid.

We're not jumping on him about his request to get paid, actually if you read through the entire thread Chip has said (and the guy has acknowledged) he will be paid, the problem is he appears to have changed his payee information and is unable to, or unwilling to provide PROOF that this information he changed is correct.
Consider this....
What i went and signed up to an affiliate program using your name, sent the traffic, which made the sale, then before the program owner could verify my information they sent my payment out.
A week or two later, every single one of those sales got charged back because i used fraudulent credit cards to generate those sales, who is the person that gets 'blamed' for sending the fraudulent signups?
You would be.
All im seeing is Chip and AJ trying to verify an affiliates information is legit before money is sent out, its basic anti-fraud measures that almost every program makes.

What you would be saying would be completely different. This isn't an affiliate that sent fraudulent sign ups. Obviously these have been months out as it has been taken here to get paid. He has even offered to have the checks sent to the original payee.Quote:

He's been told what he has to do, supply identification so that he can get paid, he changed the information... (All of it from what i understand from reading this thread)... on his account and isnt willing to provide IDs to GayBucks to confirm this information is correct/legal.
No program in their right mind is going to send money to someone after having changed their entire contact information, name, company name, address, email, phone number, etc, etc without first confirming they are sending the funds to the correct person, the only way this can be confirmed is if the affiliate provides ID to them, which he has been asked for and as of yet, been unwilling or unable to provide.

Well Lee, I would rather agree with you there. But tramping all over this affiliate who just wants to be paid is a little out of hand. He has screen captures of trying to get his money that date back a few months now. It should have NEVER been on this board, as it should have just been taken care of in private. Obviously that didn't work for him. You STILL haven't addressed other affiliates with payment issues, and AGAIN I am not hating on GayBucks, I am just saying that this isn't the first time they have had issues like this.
I dont know what the situation was with other affiliates looking to get paid, the only time i have seen anything posted on the boards about GayBucks other than this thread it appears to have been resolved amicably, which leads me to beleive there is something going on above and beyond what has been posted here, which also leads me to beleive there is a reason why GayBucks have asked to see IDs and have not been furnished with them yet.
Im pretty sure everyone else on GWW would be able and willing to provide ID if requested by any of their affiliate programs they promote if it meant being paid $0.02

I agree that they should check all stuff before submitting any kind of payment.
But, to be honest, TSGroup now says "forget the new info, just pay it to the old info"
This considered, there is no reason anymore why GayBucks should not pay up.
I agree and it kind of makes me wonder why the account information was changed if the affiliate is still able to receive their payment using the old information $0.02Quote:

Why should anyone even HAVE to go to a board to be paid by an affiliate program Lee? They shouldn't, it should be paid automatically, and while we are at it, lets be honest here... if it was someone that you guys didn't like who was at the top of this thread with fingers being pointed, everyone would be jumping all over them. My guess of what I read was the cashing of US checks, cashing them in the EU is very expensive and banks tend to keep them pending for up to 60 days....Quote:

Does anyone actually have proof that the affiliate was paid out? Not doubting what GayBucks is claiming, however, anyone can say they mailed a check out, there is no real proof when using the USPS unless you get deliver confirmation. :cyclist:Quote:

There is a rather easy way of finding out in NATS. The affiliate in question just has to look at the payments.php page to see if it has ever been paid out. That said, just because someone has been around, doesn't mean that in desperate situations people get desperate. How many people got fucked by some of the billing companies, and how many other companies in adult. It has been a ton.Quote:

That being said, its not just GayBucks that I am speaking of, there are many other companies that are falling behind on payments and no one is speaking out about them or saying anything in public, which I find kinda sad, as the purpose of these boards is to help each other out, and help each other avoid these kinds of problems.
On the same general note however, I do find it interesting that I get paid out regularly for Suite 703 sites, and they can't even do updates. LOL
