Been at least three weeks since you posted Bill. How are things going for you? Any big plans for Turkey Day?

Hi Bec,

Been a rough couple of weeks. Had to be rushed to the hospital last Monday with a blood clot in my right jugular and right subclavian vein. Started out a few days before with just a pain on the right side of my neck and I thought it was just a pulled muscle. Evidently the medi-port they installed caused the clot and by the time I got admitted into the hospital the damn thing was a big as a hand.

I lost most of last week unconscious lying in the hospital bed, including Thanksgiving. Just got released this past Saturday.

They put me on several different type of IV anti-biotics and blood thinners which got the clot reducing in size fairly quickly. From what I was told it was kind of a touch and go situation on Tuesday and Wednesday. Family was called in but it just wasn't my time, so I'm hanging in there still trying to make lemonade out of lemons.

Just bed rest now for a few days but thought I check a few emails tonight before turning in.

Hope you had a great Thanksgiving and thanks so much for staying in touch.
