Using this reasoning, I could say that a gay designer doesn't truly get the mentality of any straight person, and therefore should not be working in any area except marketing to other gay people. Porn is just our widget, the principals apply in every industry, no matter what the widget.>>>
Pretty good at twisting the words around there..give ya credit for that one. You took a specific area, gay porno websites, and applied it to a much larger and general part of the world. You are going to tell me that a straight man knows what it's like to cruise men, make out with them, have foreplay and then sex? No they don't. And that's why it's MY CHOICE to use those that know what the experience (gay sex) is like and what turns on those "hormones".
A good designer or marketer knows how to target an audience, that is why they are considered good at what they do.>>
That's very correct, and in my opinion, the BEST designers for MY gay websites turn out to usually be (99% of the time) gay..not straight.
So if not all gay men can do it, then wouldn't it mean it is a skill that's not defined by sexuality?>>wow...lol..love to stretch things a bit (no pun intended)..Hey..you've never come across a gay man who is CLUELESS about things? That's why I said "MOST" gay men can relate..not necessarily all.
Not so sure why you get so hot & bothered about people's own preferences in designing their websites.
