Gawd I am So sick of Twinks

i think it's safe to take the moral high ground when you and others like you do everything you can to make your sites sound like the models are underage. why trigger pedofiles who could harm children as a result of being triggered by your sites? and don't forget that by doing so, you are helping to bring the attention of several different government agencies to bear on your sites.

in matters of ethics as well as legality you are a person who is who doesn't care and it doesn't bother and you are risking jail. it doesn't even seem to occur to you.

did you ever stop to think that you are also making sure your sites will be marketed by less webmasters by this portrayal of guys over 18 as seeming younger than they are?

My main concern with twink sites has always been the presentation and as a link list owner I am always concerned about what sites I allow in my link list, I don't want to be know as the link list with the most school boy sites.

Present the models as who they really are. Not some fantasy that you want to create to make sales. There are some hot twinks out there that both young and old would enjoy seeing. And even the models take pride in having others like seeing them. That's all good.

BUT ENOUGH OF THE BS ABOUT school boy secrets, boys i prey on in my neighborhood, and afterschool jerkoff, and when mom and dad are away etc.

I think the original poster started hating twink sites after he has to go look at the galleries and see if there is 2257, how young they are, what sponsors they link to etc. Sure he has to check all site. But if I get a bear site or a men over 30, it's much less work.

Basschick,

this is the whole point I am trying to make. You just said it better. The most ethical comapnies will be th eones that survive in the long run. they may lose a bit in the hort term, but they will be around when the others are long gone.

Trust me, when the government starts going after 2257, it will be on sites that create an underage fantasy vs. other sites, even if the model are over 18. And even though you have 2257, I still dont want the government knocking on my door. I would rather spend a day at the beach. :)

Well I am pretty sure you are taking about the text in the new design, but that will not be the text on the real site its just a template. After all I will have to comply will Ccbills rules so it will change, but that said yes this site will be a teen boy action site. I will use words like young, teen boy, barley legal Ect in any acceptable ways I can, that’s just what people want from a site like this. Just like when I do the frat site I will use words like hung, sculpted, hunks, ECT cuzz that is what at least I think those people want to hear.

I wont even allow webmaster who market mike18 to submit to my link list. It's not just that some webmasters wont market, some traffic sources ban it as well.

Why don't you just you the 12 keywords that pedophiles look for on p2p networks. ALL 12 will pass ccbill compliance. It's like a hidden code.

As far as I can tell, nobody was attemtping to regulate anything in this dicussion, just offering opinions on how the industry might be able to self-police and self-regulate.

Also, most laws are subjective in nature, are they not? The age when people can begin smoking, for instance, and the age for when people can begin drinking is another.

It concerns me that many of us see the business strictly in terms of
legalities, yet apparently only when it suits us to. After all, many
condemn bareback producers for producing content that is legal, and they
don't think twice about judging those who do it. Yet turn to some of those
same people and ask them whether or not they think it's appropriate to
produce content with guys who look to be about 15 years old, and they say,
"It's legal, so kindly shut the fuck up and don't judge me."

For the record, my opinions are not based on what turns people on. I make no judgments as to what turns anyone on (unless it's 3-year-olds or kittens; call me "old-fashioned" if you will), but rather they are based on the ramifications that it might have on the models themselves. To suggest that I am attempting to condemn those who find twinks sexy is ludicrous. But again, there's a bigger picture beyond what gets someone's dick hard, and that bigger picture includes the mental health of members of our community who very well might end up psychologically and sexually damaged by being objectified and/or exploited by a business whose bottom line is defined by monetary income.

people want to hear stuff that make the boys seem underage. it appears that you will be happy to cater to those people.

there is no indication using words like hung, scupted or hunks that the models are underage. saying young boy or young teen boy obviously does try to indicate exactly that.

and btw, what the designer does you will not be able to change without making it look worse. i work with many different designers for clients all the time and we always use the permanant text on the designs as we go along. the designers, in fact, generally ask me for the text because it is annoying for them to change it afterward.

Well when I say stuff like young teen boys not that I am sure I would say that yet, but I will be sure to add the 18-20 year old thing before it just like we have talked about before.

That is a good point about having the right text for the designer at the start, I really did not think changing it would be that big of a deal. They sais if I have problem in the near future with the text they would fix it, but I guess I should talk to that Ccbill guy before I complete this site to get a better idea of what they will allow.

teen consists of the ages between 12 and 19. that is an 8 year spread and only 2 of those years are legal. so a young teen would not be legal. and using phrases like "young teen boys" on your site is a great way to be sure that 1/3 of the tgps and review sites won't list your site or any galleries linking to your site.

that being the case, you would be losing the money you think you are gaining by using phrases to attract the pedos while you also lose affiliates who won't promote sites that say things like "young teen boys".

perhaps not the best business plan...

Oh geez! At least use "legal teen boys" or "18 & 19 year old teen boys". Don't try to entice pedophiles with phrases like "young teen boys". Please!

I just put the “young” thing in because you said that word, what I was more thinking is “18-20 Year Old Teen Boys. I really do want to use the words teen boys in some way, in some place but I do not want to push it to far

I just hired the gossamer thread guys to do some programming work and ALL my links lists are getting re-done and I am really being picky about what i allow webmasters to submit.

A lot is going out. Watersports, young related stuff, certain fetishes. I think you will find as the govenment begins to crack down, many will just not want the risk.

I had a conversation with my lawyer and he stronly advises me that even if I link to a free site or gallery that links to a site that implies underage, I could be liable as well.
