i hear oprah tied pornography in with cp :(

i read the following on another board:

"It was a show with Ricki Martin on it, and they were talkin about helping kids all over the world and all that good stuff, then Oprah said "Pornographers were jumping on planes right after the tsumi hit, to photograph child porn!""

i'm pretty offended, since our industry contributed many thousands of dollars toward the tsunami victims, and also because i have never met a person active within any part of our industry who had anything to do with cp.

oprah reaches millions of viewers a week, and people listen to jokes like this and incorporate them into their world-view. i think she should be far more responsible in things she says. linking a bunch of working mothers, fathers, and college students in with cp is not funny in any way.

this is not the first time the "first lady of prime-time!" has "inserted foot into mouth!" , not too long back she made the comment "i'll never eat red meat again!" and had the beef industry trying to prosecute!
she's not as "controversial!" as say someone like "h*ward stern" but it's only a matter of time before she makes that one comment which will turn the public against her!
meanwhile , i do catch a couple of her shows , she continues to entertain me for now!

I just happened to see that show. I was taken back from what they said. I'm sure there were a few that tried to get some kids. But what pissed me off was she lumped us all together with the sum bags that would do that to a kid!

people are pretty much "mushrooms!" kept in the dark and fed sh*t on a daily basis , until someone get's in there and changes the "programming!" , they will continue to believe what the media tells them!
what we need is a "represenative!" from the porn industry to go on her show! , anyone wanna'volunteer? :goof:
just kidding! , i know most of you pretty much maintain "private lives!" , and because of this the "public!" will never know.

I would love to get on that show! I have sent PR stuff to her already along with Howard Stern and just waiting to hear back! She has had FTM guys on before so I know she understands that. But I don't really think she is porn positive. But I would sure like to give her and her fans a piece of my mind. Show her we are not what the world thinks we are.

Oprah, Oprah, Oprah... Sigh -- I admire her but when she says crap like that, it boggles....

I sent her an email as did many other webmasters but I am not sure if that is going to do anything. It is sad to hear that from someone that I look up to.

she was talking about pornographers in general, and i believe it was a joke - in poor taste. let's face it - running off to a place where there's no water or electricity and there's panic in the streets isn't the best place to shoot anything, legal or otherwise.

Did you see this show? It's kind of hard to beleive that she would actually make a joke like that out of a tragedy. I remember when they spread the tommy hilfiger rumor that he was racist and kicked him off the show cuz his clothes were just for white people he had said and it was false. Just chkg.

after all, it never happened, so she couldn't have been serious. no news or other media claimed this happened even once.

I watched Oprah one day .. it was all about dieting.

Oh My ! Oprah was all excited over the chocolate fudge pop. No no .. its melting .. what's a diva to do?

She went down on it like she was seasoned`ho.

From the look on her face, her lustful lip licking and the laughter in the audience .. it was pretty clear she was lovin' that popcycle like it was a piece of well-hung meat.

Another half a minute and I swear she would have deep-throated it!

I remember when she did a show on "upskirting" and she said something like "putting 'upskirting' in google will get you over a million hits" which of course implies that there are a million upskirting sites on the Net. The audience, of course, was shocked and dismayed.

At the time of the tsunami though, I did hear that the child slave/porn trade in Asian was quick moving towards the region, so to combat it governments in the region weren't allowing children under 16 or 14 to leave the country.
