Hey everyone. I finally got my first tattoo! What do you all think?
Here's another view of it. :)
sorry but I don't like It
what It Is?
It look as some bug... sorry
I'm afraid the photo doesn't do it justice, it really is a beautiful piece. But to each his own. I like it and that's all that matters. It's an abstract design that's based on the word "Rebirth". The idea is that there is a figure in the middle that is bursting through a face. A new life being born from the death of another. You can see other images in it as well.
I like it...cool work! Congrats on your first tat!
Lee
Thanks, man. :)
I like it.
I wish I could make a commitment to a tatoo....
Pat
Cool - A little Alien'ish - dangerous : )
I like it -- points for not getting a tribal band. :)
I could sorta see a woman figure in the center, couldn't make out the rest. But it's pretty interesting.
I like it... actually the first thing that came to mind when i first saw it was a cocoon, which still has something to do with the rebirth :)
I'm gonna get my second one next week.
Congrats Don :)
Right on Scorpio! Post a pic when you get it!
I'm surprised you saw a woman, Mike. I always saw it as a male figure, but maybe it's my feminine spirit coming out. LOL! I like that different people can see different things.
And yes, it is a little Gigeresque. Heh heh. :)
nice one! I like the design and its a good location too.
cheers,
Luke
LOL. I guess I saw a woman because he/she looks like a long, slender figure and there is a slight bump on the figure's picture-right side that looked like a breast.
Maybe it's like one of those picture puzzles. "Do you see an old woman or a young woman?" ;)
Way to go Don!
Every tattoo should have a story or at least some personal significance. I hate it when people get tattoos just because they saw an image on the artist's walls and thought it looked cool. :P
Your's is very unique and very appropriate for you life story.
sorry, It's too abstract for me, I don't see It, but If you like this tatoo, others will like It too :)Quote:

Interesting. I like it. The cool thing about tats are they also represent a time in your life, like a bookmark. The rest of your life you have a story to tell about you, what it is, and the situation surrounding it. Another page in the book that is your life.
Welcome to the addictive club. :)
YAY.
I'm glad you finally got it.. you've been threatening to get it now for ages.. I'm proud of you that you finally did it.
And it looks great.
I'm getting my sleeve designed right now, and if all goes well, should be about half done by Vegas.
Thanks guys. I'm really proud of it and it really is about time. Although now I'm already thinking of the next one. I have a great pencil drawing that will be the basis for my next one, but it still needs some work. And I know I'm going to have a Warhol somewhere, but not sure what or ware. Probably something of his that is not as well known. I'd never want to walk around with a Cambell's soup can or a Coke bottle on my body. LOL!
And Jaromir, I love the fact that you don't like it. I always say that I cringe at the thought that there may someday be a time when everyone agrees with me.
I love that analogy, Krusher. I don't know if you all know this but I write songs all the time. I used to be in a band and would like to get back into it. And I had written this one really sad song called "Answers" where I had the line... "My life is an open book, the tender pages torn, close the cover, I don't want to be here anymore".Quote:

Love the tattoo. It increases your sexiness quotient (which was already quite high) by 15 percent.
Okay, you are just too cute. Thank you. LOL! :)Quote:
