I was just censored and banned from a french adult porn forum

I am absolutely amazed!

Ok, I told a joke and it was crude and graphic. I expected to be flamed, told to fuck off, laughed at, etc. Even being banned doesn't really surprise me but to find my post censored just blows me away.

And it isn't a little censor like "Post deleted," or "thread locked." Instead it is literially edited with HUGE yellow words that read "POST CENSURÉ !"

I suppose the only point I was trying to make was that it is an adulte forum devoted to pornography and when someone uses graphic terms. It gets censored.

The word Pornography is the marriage of two words.

Profane + Cinematography = Pornography In otherwords, profane cinematography. IE: It is supposed to be offensive.

If you don't like what I said, then exercise your right to express yourself and argue with me, tell me to fuck off, slam me and even ban me.

But shit they shouldn't censor it on an adult forum. Especially since it never attacked anyone personally.

However, it is a porn forum. If you spend any length of time in the jizz bizz at the very heart of what we do is the right to say what we want and express what we want.

It's because ppl talk about adultbiz that they forget what the word "respect" means, or that they have the right to say anything they want. The laws are exactly the same, and make no differences for porn forums!!! So that, for example, the forum's owner has the same law obligations regarding insulting, etc. HE is responsible for what is said on HIS forum.
However, most people in those porn forums are not considering them as a part of a special biz, meaning porn biz, they mainly feel they are part of Internet biz, so the rules come with it.

The true irony is I'm not the origional creator of the joke. Matt Parker and Trey Stone of SouthPark fame are. Everything graphic in it, they wrote.

I don't know the law in France...but, if it were my board I would censor or remove it asap. Why? Well, a person can be arrested in the US, for writing about their fantasies on having sex with or hurting children. I'd question what the authorities would think if they found that post on my board (not to mention I personally would have hated seeing it). So, yes I would censor the hell out of it or just simply remove it.

When someone owns an adult message board, I believe is there's to do with what they want. I might not like the way they run it or what they do with it. But, I didn't pay for it, I don't pay the bills for it, didn't do all the work for it and I don't have to keep it up.
I don't think it has a thing to do with freedom of speech or lack of it.

I believe when people think that what someone else owns, should be ran the way "they" think it should be run is wrong (there's gotta be a name for that...I just can't think of it right now...lol)

Where does it stop though? What are the boundaries of what someone owns not being judged on how they own it, run it?

As for myself, I could never or let my partner promote anything that made me sick. So sick that I couldn’t stay in the house. I’m not judging you…I’m just saying that it sounds like a little self-projection there. And, "you" titled your thread in that French forum about it...

I like money as well...very, very much as a matter of fact.
But, there is a balance.

I agree that porn is a different beast and is changing every day.
However, I wouldn't say there aren't any connections between owning an adult store, being a stripper, owning a soft porn site, erotic stories site, a very hardcore site and ect....some view it "all" as "porn" but, with different levels of interest and levels of sexuality perception.

What I may view in this industry as acceptable, some might think was horrible and screwed up. As well as when I see something that makes me sick, they might feel is fine.

Well I actually think we are comming to an common ground here. I won't argue that what someone owns they can do what they want with. Given, granted and not disputed.

But I am going to argue that if you are involved and/or earning a living from the porn industry. They have to check the ego at the door and not try and put themself as the judge of what is or isn't obscene and what someone should or shouldn't view. And especially if they aren't on the front lines.

Regardless if porn is 18 year old glamour models filmed on the Italian Riveria. Or is an 80-year old inter-racial gang bang.

Porn will always be exactly like toilet paper....

You can have your bargin brand that is like hard newsprint.
You have your expensive extra special squeezable Cottonelle.
And Sometimes it is pink and sometimes it is white.
etc etc etc.

Regardless of what kind of grocery store and where you walk in it. All the different brands and types are always going to be in the same area.
And in the end.... It all does exactly the same job and ends up in the same place.

So who am I, or anyone else, to judge what one man wants to rub his ass with. Unless of course we can honestly say, "our shit don't stink."
