So we've seen a couple of new sites geared towards gay men that put the focus on straight guys fucking women. I suspect that very soon we'll see all of the big players in the straight side of the biz launching similar sites. Anyone want to predict the next trend in online gay porn after that?

I really can't see that flying....I would suspect sales would mostly be to bi and curious guys. I for one don't want to watch straight porn when there is perfectly good gay porn available.

actually it will probably sell well with closeted gay guys who aren't even ready to accept that they are gay at all...
The name for it is "MMF", as in male-male-female.
Will it work? Even a small slice of the big overall porn market can be big money for the right players.
I think my theory holds true that it doesn't matter what the models do, as long as they look good. Two of the most searched male porn stars are Mark Dalton and Zeb Atlas - two guys who won't even be in the same room with another guy.
MMF is primarily focused, at the present time, to the straight market, specifically bisexual sites however, those types of sites do work well on filtering straight traffic through to gay sites with some really amazing results.Quote:

I do think that there are a lot more bisexual and gay curious surfers out there than the industry as a whole gives them credit for and, i agree with you in that even a small peice of a big pie is good enough for some people. I do however beleive that the lifespan of 'straight guys fucking women' sites is going to be a relatively short lived one with perhaps 1 or 2 sites being the stable.
The reason i say that is even now, we are seeing the proliferation of more highly targeted sites hitting the industry as a whole and, with so many undervalued niches still left to be marketed in the gay industry these types of sites are, in my opinion, are going to be short lived as a whole, making some affiliates money while they are the latest fad but, as soon as something else comes along, they will die their death.

This is an interesting topic... I find that I like str8 porn over gay porn, but I wasn't really sure why until I thought about it recently.
It's the enthusiasm and passion in str8 porn. When a hot guy is fucking and he's totally into it, washed over with hunger for the girl, it's hot. I love to see a hot guy like that (even if he's doing a girl)!! Now, if only I could see that in gay porn! I like Bel-Ami stuff because I see that in those videos. So, I agree with what's been said here about porn needing more passion (vs. gay for pay, which I've always thought was bland).
As for the next trend: I saw those str8 porn for gay guys sites and I was intrigued, checked it out and found myself into it because the guy was hot. So, as long as the guy's hot and we get to see a lot of him, it would be good. But of course, I won't get to see the full deal (him getting fucked or fucking a guy) so will it turly be enough for the gay crowd? I've actually wondered how this new trend would fly. Should be interesting to watch.

Not enough gay guys want to see straight porn. Most, to be honest, would rather see striaght guys who aren't having fun fucking each other than vaginas.
What I really think gay porn companies should do is get redal gay guys who like ot have sex and enjoy doing it to get on camera and have sex while enjoying it.
I think you're going to see more small niches, ones that we might think are too small now or we haven't yet imagined. The straight side of the biz is much better than we are with creating and promoting micro-niches.
For example, what about a good food sex site, or a tattoo site, or a balloon site? I'd sign up for at least one...but I'm not telling which!
