We're going to be streamlining the affiliate program for our sites Academymen, BeForced, and BearBound. . .and we're playing around with a name for the program. CA$HBound is the name I have been toying with, given the bondage nature in all the sites. . .
. . .anyone like that name? I am open to other suggestions. . .

I really like Cash Bound.
Right off the top of my head, I thought of Captive Cash.com, it's available and has a certain zing to it (i think) :goseek:
I like it for the branding aspect with BearBound but, i cant help but wonder if you'd be doing yourselves a dis-service by using a program name that is similar to just 1 of your site offerings to affiliates.
Is bearbound your flagship site or the site you'll be heavily promoting or, will you be promoting all of your sites? Id venture a guess at saying you'll want your affiliates and future affiliates to know (and remember) all of your brand names not just bearbound.
Might be an idea to see what other options are available before making a solid decision to go with just one.
http://www.whois.sc and http://www.uk2.net have some great tools that i use on an almost daily basis for finding new domain names you may want to check those out for other options too :)
Another thing you might want to consider is how the domain 'sounds' domains with 2 words that start with the same letter, imho but ultimately it is your choice :)

I agree with Corbin - the word (in the world of advertising words are #1 followed by image, MHO) bound speaks of, or depicts its purpose (tied to cash, or selling all things tied-up).

Question: the name you are thinking is actually CA$HBound, and not CASHBound, correct?

I have to agree. It's a play on the word bound, but even taking the bondage part out of it, you still have the idea of "you're bound to make cash". I like the $, it looks great for a logo, but will that cause problems with peple typing out the name or the name being properly seen in different fonts? I don't know much about that stuff.
Can you register the name with and with out the $ but have them go to the same site to avoid any typos?
