i want to know were are some good tgp were i can add my banner and pay for it or any good gay site to add small banner to send traffic my way to make more members i'm willing to spend a bit of cash just want to make sure i spend it at the right place so i'm not wasting my money .. let me know thanks guys
Personally I think if you're looking to buy real quality spots that you should go with a few gay sites or gay blogs.
As a further suggestion, go to Adbrite and search for the gay sites and blogs.
This will also get you the AVN Ads network which is really just a co-branded adbrite, (it all goes through adbrite) Place individual orders for the sites; don't do the network wide buy. (Some of the sites end up on adbrite some on AVN Ads.)
By placing individual ads you'll get a better roi in my opinion.
Most of those sites only do text ads but a few do banners & buttons. Stick with the text.
I am sure some people may disagree with me on this, but I have found paid listings not worth the money. After all most of the time if the traffic was that good they would be working with affiliate programs and not selling the placement. Exception would probably be like google, but they do charge a whole lot of that too. But if you have any success please do let me know

Of course, nobody ever said that you had to limit yourself to traditional advertising. I consistently do not stick to the standard methods for my sites. If you want to publicize your website, go make some news. The new wave of blogs and fangroups will eat it up, because they have a constant hunger for new things to talk about....and that's free publicity.

When a site gets large enough to generate massive, quality traffic, it will make more money selling ad space than working with affiliate programs. With selling ad space, the check arrives before the deal is done, there are no charge backs, there are no coordinating affiliate campaigns, no risk if the campaign fails, and the demand on human resources at the company are much lower--all elements reducing overhead and making the ad sales more viable than promoting affiliate programs that may or may not generate a return on investment.Quote:
