you going?
People still go to that crap?
San Diego will be empty, streets abandoned, bartenders serving only themselves...
I have never been. It has always appealed to me as being a drug and fuck party. Maybe if I was single.. Probably not though, not my type of thing.
Hell, I leave town when that starts! Hmmmm, guess I'm getting old.
Bill
we haven't been since (scratching my head) - can't remember but, we fucked in front of a hell of a lot of people at the Black Party - 2002, I think...probably the same year we stopped making public perfomances and started focusing in our producing videos... I found this pic from Roseland - Black Party 2002 doing our old stand by "construction worker" skit...here's a pic...from our scrapbook...
Problem is they do the drugs....then they can't get it up. That's about a useless as kissing your sister.Quote:

Who knew.....a tribute to modern science. Take one drug that takes it all the way down and another that takes it back up.Quote:

$9 beers.
$100 tickets (or something like that)
People flying on Meth, fucking on the dance floor... bareback...
Yeah, thanks, I'll pass.
In fact, being given the choice of going to the White Party and holding me face in a deep fryer... it would be a tough choice.
its great...LA's already begun to clear out and head to the desert leaving our gym with the few and the serious...
they will all be back crowding for space next week and trying to re-pump for the next event...
I wonder if anyone has ever calculated the amount of revenue lost on the circuit set?!?!?! figuring - travel costs, admission, lodging (maybe). food (never) and of course, drugs...per each event X how many domestic events and/or international....could be a hefty number?
I have posted a prayer in my new bulliten on myspace... add me as a friend and read it.
It's a little blasphemous, so if making fun of prayer and our most celebrated holiday coinciding with Easter weekend offends you... then don't read it. Go to church, instead, and pray for my doomed, doomed soul.

I'd love to go to church for you...but, every time I get close to walking in the front door, the churches tend to burn and crumble right before my eyes!
No, I'm not psychotic, its just that I was raised as a Catholic!
(have fun at the white party...I wish I were young again!)

yeah, you'd NEED to alot of stimulants to shag Tina. Although I really liked that "Private Dancer" song.Quote:

jeez, am I dating myself or what
"Tina" is short for "Christina" which is a riff off of "Crystal" as in "Crystal Meth".
"Tina" was used as a code word for crystal meth so people could talk about it in private while in public.
Example:
Person 1 - "Hey, let's go to this party!"
Person 2 - "Is Tina going to be there?"
Person 1 - "I hear she's gonan stop by."
That means that theres going to be crystal meth at the party.
So it's just a code word that worked it's way into our vernacular.
:-)

Tee-hee! Looks like you still have some of Uncle Sid in yah ... I was talking about my kinda White Party ... freeheelin ... telemarkin ... skiing!Quote:

I'll leave hypocrisy to the old guys bitching about others, whom are merely doing what they did, when they were young.
So what about all of those other acronyms like Mary, and Gina and the rest of the alphabet. I hear those all the time at the clubs but I have no idea what they mean.Quote:

But one movie that will really show you what long term drug use will do to you is Ciao Manhattan. The movie is based on the life of Edie Sedgwick, starring her playing herself. Half the movie was made in the late 60's and was supposed to be an underground film but was never finished, so in the eaerly 70's they filmed new footage with Edie with the idea of using the old footage as flashbacks about her life. The really sad thing is that she was too fucked up in real life to realize the movie was about her. She stumbles and falls all through the movie and barely gets her lines out, and you think she's a great actress but she isn't, she's just really messed up from the years of heavy drug use and drinking. So it's a combination of reinactment and documentary. It's really tragic.Quote:

I really had no clue...(and still don't on many levels!)
funny thing is, that even though I was told by my folks and society that I was frying my brain (when 18 or so on LSD and all the psychodelics at that time)
I have still pulled through ok in the end...) no mal-formed babies or arms growing out of the side of my head, or anything like that
However, and I do mean HOWEVER, in all caps, I did start and stop doing drugs early in life and manage to pull myself pretty quickly...
I guess the big differences these days is that most of the drugs such as coke and crystal, etc. are highly addictive - I don't thinkg the psychodelics ever were - but then again, I don't know.
I'm just glad that I stopped when I did and have had a chance to see life from many perspectives...
yeah Don Mike...and now that you mention it, VALLEY OF THE DOLLS was, and remains a very sobering look at pharmaceuticals addiction...although, a gay classic (turn in your gay card if you haven't seen it) it is a sad view of the reality of pill addiction...
dolls... bennies and the legal prescription "speed" that drove the 60's generation
Sorry, haven't seen it (but I can't dance and listen to punk rock so they never gave me a gay card anyway), but I have watched Requiem for a Dream starring the super sexy Jared Leto, and that is by far the most depressing drug movie I've ever watched.Quote:

Just Mary Jane, hee hee. ;)Quote:

Society stills refuses to accept or understand stand that religion, money, 'success', pharmaceuticals, sex, porn, gambling, alcohol, tobacco (still the two biggest accepted hypocrisies, in my eyes), shopping, fighting & the thug lifestyle, wanting to be a pimp, modding autos, caffeine (coffee, tea, chocolate etc), junk food, eating excessively, sugar, keeping up with the Joneses, work etcetera are ALL coping mechanisms or "drugs"!
People seem to think that the term addiction only refers to pot (WTF, how does one get addicted to that?), cocaine, heroin, and others in the same category, while they convenientlyover look their nasty little pleasures.
Name a drug and I have most likely licked, snorted/sniffed, placed it on my eye, smoked or inhaled it, and ingested it (and often all at the same time), yet I do not 'need' to return to 'it'.
IF anything, I am finding it next to impossible to quit work and my want for money and shiny things!
On the other hand, maybe I just have a non-addictive personality ... however, what do I know, aside from the fact that I am a drug dealer, and the drug I push is porn!
I always took pride in having a "non addictive" personality because I don't drink very often and never got into drugs. But looking at my life lately I'm a total sugar and caffiene addict. I've tried to get off of them but I always come back. It's not an easy habit to break, and they both have very physical and mental aspects of addiction to them.Quote:

I have an extremely addictive personality, but I realized this early on and have gotten myself purposely addicted to health food and running (the best high ever, seriously). Because I am addicted to these, there are certain things that I cannot do, like drink every night, because I hate running on a hang over. I can't get high all the time because then I will eat only shit food and not health food (my body is also addicted to health food and I get sick if I eat more than a little sugar or too many carbs).Quote:

Drugs are so boring when I think about it. I'd take a weekend skiing with Paco over a weekend doing drugs and drinking anytime.
