Just introducing myself!

I just want to introduce myself to the members here, maybe do a little business, and hopefully learn a little from those who are willing to teach. My name is Scott. I am a former escort and an ex-convict. Some of my buddies and I started a new website with all original content. I am unable to post the url but the website is full of videos, pictures and true stories of men who just got out of prison having rough sex with younger guys, aggressively dominating them. We chose ccbill as the payment processor because we thought it would give people a reassuring feeling to know that they could depend on them for affiliate payments and membership payment billing.

We drew on a long personal list of previous clients etc. for initial sign-ups but I am interested in any feedback and for webmasters who would like to earn promoting our site. I will do anything I can to help you bring in traffic so please don't hesitate to contact me.

CCBill is still an excellent billing choice, and for a small webmaster, the CCBill affiliate program remains one of the best, most well respected programs out there. Paycom's new program is exciting, but there's no reason to switch at this point.

I will point out, however, that your 2257 statement is not compliant. You've listed a name and the hours at which your records can be examined, but I seriously doubt that you have your records stuffed into a post office box :) Just trying to help you stay legal :)

OMG LOL this has to be down on my list, but what are you taking about? I do not list a PO box anyplace. You can PM me if you have a sugestion about rewording this, but I did post this statement for everyone to read and I do not remember a problem at that time.

I looked at this again, we must be looking at totally different sites. I guess I should add the hours because I do not have those (but really my schedule changes so its just a guess) but I can not find this PO box stuff. All this legal wording crap is a bit beyond me, can not afford a legal department quite yet :x

I still think paycom is going to be the best going forward, but Ccbill is well respected and a close second

Thanks to everyone who posted and welcomed me in. The site is real and the guys on it are really all ex-convicts. There is no rula against making or participating in legal adult material while you are on parole, or probation for that matter.

We've been working with CCBILL for well over 5 years and they are a great, stable processor, however you may wish to add a secondary billing solution option to protect yourself from having all of your eggs in one basket and Epoch/Paycom is a good choice. They are both great companies!

Welcome, nice site concept and tour. The 35% rev share for affiliates is a little low, but I think your site will convert well and possibly retain member well, so I signed up.

I am certainly receptive to changing things as I learn the webmastering side of things. What is a standard percentage for affiliates. I have tons of buddies who are ex-cons and I know how to put hot sex down on film...but the webmastering side is new to me. I certainly respect the fact that the financial viability is dependent on webmasters like you bringing traffic...so I will give some serious consideration to upping the percentage next month. Any other suggestions for how I can make it easier for you guys?

50% is standard $0.02 (just look around)

Not quite 50% but I am listening and learning from you guys. I hope that is an improvement. We are just a team of regular guys who have made a little money escorting since we got out of prison, not some corporate behemoth that has 25 websites and can work the numbers like that. Welcome -- I tried signing up but for some odd reason the affiliate code that I got takes me to seancody.com and the banner farm link at ccbill also takes me to seancody.com -- perhaps something at ccbill isn't set up correctly?

isn't the same as the ccbill referal info that was sent to me via email just now or in the ccbill admin area.

Hmmmm anyone from ccbill around that can shed light on this?

I just called ccbill and the incorrect affiliate code was embedded...you have saved me so much headache! I am having it fixed as we speak and i will post here when it has been resolved and now reflects accurately. Thanks again!

If you can't afford an attorney to review your site and make sure you're doing things legally, you DEFINITELY can't afford to defend yourself against a Justice dept. charge for noncompliance with 2257. One costs under $500. The other could cost $100,000 or more. Not a wise gamble.

Max, I'm really sorry. I was speaking to prisonmade about his 2257, not yours. It may have been confusing because of the way I wrote the post.

Great site, it should do amazingly well. I don't know of anything like it. And Workin Men Movies sure has done well for me.

BTW, don't listen to Max, ccbill is way better for affiliates than Paycom. ccbill allows webmasters to merge all their accounts into one. Paycom is still on the seventh sun of Jupiter as far as this is concerned.

Can you actually do me a huge favour? Can you go back into your ccbill admin panel and actually call your program something other than "CCBill Referral Program." I have like 20 of these all called "CCBill Referral Program" and I have to look through each one when I'm looking for a particularly program. Drives me nuts. Just call it Prison Studs or something.

Adding another welcome to GWW. Did have a question about one of your membership pricing options. There's one that says 24.95 for 37 days (trial) recurring ... is that legit or did someone mess up entering information on a trial option?

I called ccbill twice with regards to my ccbill affiliate linking code. They assure me that everything is correct and running properly. I have PM'd Robin and, hopefully, he will confirm that everything is working smoothly. I want to make sure that it does before everyone invests time in being an affiliate of ours.

Bec, I saw that trial rate somewhere else and like it. It really is silly to have it next to a subscription plan for the same rate at 30 days but I hought it was a clever way of marketing towards people signing up for a recurring plan as opposed to a one-time billing option. I guess i will see how well that works out here over the next month or two!

I have changed the affiliate program to the "Prisonsex affiliate program". Hopefully, that makes your accounting issues a little easier to monitor.

Well as of 3 am EST the site still shows as "CCbill Referral Program" and the link creaed under Tools is still going to Sean Cody.

Thanks for clarifying on that 'trial' ... can't recall ever seeing one structued quite like that before. Be interesting to see what your results are with it.

Thanks to Bec's late night comment and some great help from ccbill I was able to fix all problems. The affiliate sign-up link issue is taken care of, the affiliate program now has a unique tag "PrisonSex Affiliate Program" and I even fixed the 2257 page so that it now has a physical address and meets compliancy issues. Thanks to everyone for their help and I will responding in PM's where appropriate after I get a few hours sleep!

Just to make sure that anyone who signed up and got the SeanCody information understands what happened - you HAVE registered for the Sean Cody program. You will have to go back to PrisonStud and sign up again to get the correct program refer code now that his signup form has been correctly setup. If you're not sure - test your link.

Thanks Bec. I did pm everyone that expressed interest to let them know that but, yes, that is absolutely correct. Anyone who signed up as an affiliate before with www.prisonstud.com - my signup email was incorrectly coded. It has been fixed but to join the PrisonSex Afiliate Program you will need to signup again. I aploize for the inconvenience but the good news is that I upped the affiliate percentage from 35% to 45% during that time. So, thanks to all and now I am offf to film two ex-cons having their way with a sophomore Psychology major from Berkeley. Life is good. Thanks for all the help everyone!
