Lee, are you sure? .rainbowrevenue.com is one of the top gay programs and we are doing about 100 custom content shoots a month.
Yes.

Only 2 threads out of 11 pages even mentioned your program.. Both of those threads were started by you LOL

And sometimes I wish that people used spellcheck when posting on boards. Maxpower's posts are totally unreadable, but I see there are many others that post stuff that is full of grammar lapses... And I'm asuming english is their native language...
...Or post stuff that actually makes no sense... I'm still not sure what you are trying to ask in this post?
In order to be consistent with my strong free expression views, I have no issue with companies that produce non-condom or bareback videos, gay or straight. I believe that models need to be fully informed of the risks being taken when not using protection, but as long as what is being filmed is consenting adults engaged in legal acts, I am not about to tell someone which way their moral compass should point in regards to the video they shoot.
Well, the way I see it, you're not "bad" for the market at all. The market itself knows no such thing as morals or ethics. Money is money. Just ask any web producer who produces straight-guy niche content. They will usually tell you they don't have many concerns about what kind of a message straight-guy content sends to gay men; it's about the money. People want to see it, therefor they offer it. That's just simple economics: supply-and-demand.
That much has to be acknowledged. It also should be acknowledged that you are offering content to people who share your views on condoms in porn, and they have just as much a right to view the content they wish to see as those who prefer to see content shot with condoms.
However, the question remains whether or not your content is "bad" for the gay community, and that, my friend, is another story entirely. That would depend on whether or not you feel it is important to promote safer sex in adult content.
By the way, I hate using terms like "bad" and "good" when it comes to topics like this one. I prefer to stick to more constructive terms, and just view a situation for what it is rather than make moral assumptions about what kind of people produce certain kinds of content. I leave that to those moral grandstanders who think themselves better than everyone else.
I believe sometimes we talk “American” I can see how someone from Slovenia would have trouble keeping up, but we could live with out a English lesson from some potato farmer. :innocent:
But we cannot decide what is "good" porn and what is "bad" porn.
Because if _we_ decide what is good and bad, that means that someone other than the viewer decides what is good or bad for him, and I am not about to let someone else decide for me what is good for me.
And we DEFINITELY do not want some morals police to decide what is good porn [not harmful to the gay community] and what is bad porn [harmful to the gay community].
Of course, your freedom of expression allows you to say all day long and to everyone that will listen that bareback films are bad for the community. ;-)
I think the net has lead to a much more casual way of writing, but not sure its all that bad. People just type or chat the way they talk for the most part, who cares that much about watching every word you say or type. Unless I am going to get a gold star on my paper or something I see little need to take things to far.
Now I understand writing is what you do for a living, so I can see how you would see this differently.
I agree with you to a point. I don't mind people typing things like "b/cuz" or "str8" or "gr8"... that saves time, but I think what the other guy was talking about was actual grammar and spelling. It really is important for people to be able to put together proper sentences and use words correctly. Otherwise, people look kind of stupid. If you have a 12th grade education, you should be able to put together words. That's just so ... basic.
But yeah, I am a writer, and I suppose that makes me a bit of a grammar snob. :)
You could really look at it as the Net saved the written language, with so many more people writing more often than probably anytime in history things are going to get sloppy. But the baby in the bath water is still worth keeping.
I kind of think this guy has to translate some of the text, so spelling could be a bigger problem then.
Holy thread hijack, BatMan!
lol
Thanx Max for the private message, where you politely explained to me that "I don't understand US slang" so it must be hard for me to get all your jokes and meanings of your posts... Well, actually that's not the case.
I have no trouble with people writing in slang, or using abbrevations, short meanings of the words, but I really do have an issue with people that don't even make sense in their posts, that's all. People who post their threads full of grammatic mistakes which are really hard to read for everyone, or just making their posts so unclear that I need to ask myself if I've been doing any drug treatment during the day...
By the way, the potato farm joke, geeeze... we actually are not Irish you know. And far from being farmers.
Oh, and not to be a thread hijacker... No, I don't think you're bad for market. Bareback has always been there and it will probably be even more sought after...
the only question I would raise is would a warning sign "Caution: Models in this video don't use condoms and have unprotected, unsafe and risky sex which may lead to all sorts of sexually trasmited diseases some of which might lead to a certain death." put people off from watching the video in your case?
For instance like warning labels on cigarettes... they are there and they're suppose to make me aware of the danger of smoking...
I do not have too many Slovenian jokes man not really my A game area, but I think the Potato Joke was not so bad. What the hell else are you guys known for, other than mail order brides?
But that’s why I picked potatoes, nothing much else will grow right? Dont let me look up your biggest exports and industries man lol
But ya man, thats my point right or wrong I guess when I think about Slovenia I think of a poorer Russian type place, why I went with the potato thing (vodka) and the bride thing. Did look around a bit, seems you guys would be closer to goat herders than potato farmers though :shitpoke:
It's such a shame you're so ignorant, but you're also so uneducated... it's not hard to type in google "Slovenia" and see where it is, and soon you'll discover that it has absolutely no connection to Russia and never had.
We are far from being a farm country dear... but why should I bother with explanation to someone that thinks that world evolves around USA... :juggle:
i have a friend in slovakia. it's really truly beautiful there - incredible, really - and the standard of living is higher than here.
btw, if you are planning to start an affiliate program, it might be wise to avoid this sort of topic. your reputation could cost you a lot of money.
Thats true...the world does not revolve around the US. It does however revolve around our economy. :glasses:
Also, I have not googles Slovania as you suggested, but I am fariy sure you were part of Yugoslavia after WWII until the 90's. And we all know that Yugoslavia NEVER had anything to do with mother Soviet Russia. :donmike:
You won't believe it, but we were not Soviet satellites unlike Hungary or Romania or the rest of the Eastern Block. NEVER ever, and I still can't believe how most of you are ignorant....
For those of you who have no clue (RED IS EASTERN BLOC - Yugoslavia was never part of it - ofcourse if you can locate it...:loser:
