Namely boobies :)
Can anyone explain bra sizes to me please?
How do they work, whats the smallest size, and if possible an example pic, and whats the medium and largest size, again with and example pic if possible.
Ive never really understood this concept between 34dd and all the other things other than reading that some models have '34dd' breasts.
Any help the female GWW Community members could offer me on this topic would be appreciated :)

Can't say I have direct experience, but I think you measure the boobs from the fullest part and get a number (example: 36), and then you measure underneath the boob to get the torso size (ex: 32). Subtract the torso size from the "full" size and that gives you your cup size. 1= A, 2 = B, 3= C, 4 = D, etc.
The number in the bra size is the torso size, so that person would be a 32D.
Umm, I'm not sure what a double letter like "DD" would mean though...
My explanation might be a little off, but you get the idea. :joker:

I thought the number was the chest size -- just like a shirt, so that a 34D was for a woman who you could wrap a 34" tape around her chest.
Then the letter was the boob size -- and a 34D is the same girth around but more boob and less ribcage than a 34B, which would be a bigger ribcage, less boob but still the same distance around.
Then there are dick sizes, which are not based upon any scientific method but merely the ego of the measurer.

LOL that isn't stupid I asked when I was getting my first bra... The way they explain it at Victoria's Secret is the bra goes around your back so it has to fit the measurments of the back! LOL... As for bras, they are a pain and can change in size depending on the manufac. and the style. After all, a simple padded bra may be totally different than a Push up bra. I like a nice thin padded one myself, just incase a cool breeze decides people need to notice them more.
Another thing that deals with a bra is the woman's health. Women swell or "bloat" when they are close to their period most of the time so they may actually get a little bigger. Also any hormone changes such as menopause may have an effect on the need for bras.
And I have to ask Lee, what brought on this question? All I can think of is you saw a guy with serious Man Boobs and thought to get him a bra.
I never needed to know any of this stuff until I got pregnant. Then I went from wearing training bras to a 38DD.
So, a few years, post child, I decided that perhaps gravity were finally getting the better of me - and at the age of 44 decided to buy my first non maternity bra.
Lee - if you were just a little embarrassed asking the question, imagine being female, going into a store at the age of 44 - and admitting you have absolutely NO idea what size you are, nor how one of them is supposed to fit you, nor, actually, can you recall exactly how to put one of them on.

I think the other ladies of the forum have demystified the bra sizes for you - now its your turn to demystify the question. Talk about threads I never thought I'd read here...
I don't think that "D" and "DD" are particularly large anymore - I used to, then it turned out that I was a part of that group and I thought "well, I'm not that big!" Hmmmm, it's a mistery to us as well.
Here goes, for those who don't know....
The number does stand for the distance around the chest. There are two schools of thought on that. If you go and have a bra fitted at the local Victoria's Secret, however, they will measure you all of the way around, from nipple to nipple (you are in your bra of course) to get that number. It's pretty much a personal choice and a comfort issue.
The letter size indicates the cup size, meaning how much boob you have. The sizes range from AA to H and over, depending on the boob size. There are tons of porn stars that have Fs and Hs, and I think anything over DDs have a hard time buying bras locally and have to go to specialty stores or buy online!
