We actually get a ton of customers from magazines, people still look at them and hey they keep them around a lot longer than some websites.
Actually, like Jim i didnt know they still published them, its been ages since i saw any in newsagents so i just figured the demand for them had died or they were only published online :eek:

We sell a lot of magazines still on wehovideo and gayasianshop.

Yes people still read magazines. We still sell out of many of the gay issues that we receive every month from distributors.
I have a friend who does advertise in a few of the twink magazines and swears by the direct sales results for his video product line in them. Says it's his best ad medium.
I have to say Instigator, although they've been spending a lot of time recently attacking my community, my friends and the people I hang out with, so it's kind of strange to try to avoid getting caught up in that while looking for a little J/O material.
But I do miss Drummer Magazine and Bound and Gagged. Sigh.
I'm partial to the JustUsBoys magazine! ;)
I used to read Unzipped a lot, back when I wrote for them a lot. But I haven't really checked it out since I stopped writing for them.

I like the HUN mags myself. If I need help getting off. But then I get so much of the real thing who needs mags.:jasun: :jasun:

Thank God there are. I HATE reading on the comuter monitor. I like a good old-fashioned magazine to take to bed with me and read before I go to sleep. I like the feel and smell of print. Some of us still enjoy the original form of media to this new-fangled Internet stuff. Even when I get stories off the 'Net, I print them up so I have a hard copy of it. That way I can highlight and write notes in the margins if I need to. I don't think magazines will ever die.Quote:
