Introduction ( New Member )

Hi,

Some of you may know me, most do not. I am David at D&E Video's business partner in his distribution company All Boys Video Distribution. I was directed to this site for a couple of different matters by Bill at HDK. After reading it for several days I wanted to join because I think that sites like this are vital to keeping up with the industry as a whole. I will of course welcome anyone who wants to talk with me regarding business. I am not here to promote either myself as an individual or my company as a whole. I just think it's important to keep abreast on current events and our business. I read several sites designed for gossip and basic slander and choose not to be involved with them This site seems to offer unique perspectives from a wide variety of people within the adult film world. My hats off to the person that maintains this site....good job!!

Oh, and thank you for the insight on that other thing with zbuckz....I actually had a couple of other people on here enlighten me as to who the lawyer was after they saw the posts...lol

I haven't really seen any of your product out there. Are you even still with MP?

Um.... perhaps you weren't intending to, but the way you asked the question wasn't the most, um, polite way to do so.

I generally don't talk a lot about our video products since GWW is mostly a webmaster board, but

-- Three of our titles (including two back catalog titles) are in MP's top 20 sellers, and have for the past month.

-- MP has treated us absolutely fantastically. We are paid up-to-date, they are being extremely supportive and helpful in getting our product out there, and our back catalog titles (all of which they stock and continue to sell) are outselling a number of other studios (with other distributors) new releases, according to the numbers I'm hearing from other studios I'm talking to. AJ speaks with Nick and Avi on a regular basis, and Sam probably almost daily.

I'm surprised you're not seeing our product, since Google shows some 60,000 references to 18 West Studios, and practically every major online store carries our product.

Rob, welcome to GWW. One thing for sure, you can learn a lot on this board but the important thing to remember, as I'm sure you are already finding out, God gave you two ears and one mouth for a reason. I have generally found that it's always better to listen twice a much as I speak. But then, you know me, and about half the time when I do speak, I end up putting my foot in my mouth.

As usual sir you are correct. All groups have their in crowd with stern opinions and maybe I'd better reevaluate me existence here. It's hard to win a debate when it's with someone that knows everything.:goof:

Yeah, I'll hang out for a while. I'll just limit my posts to knowledge and benefit rather than aid in slander and Jealousy and try and learn as much as I can about the internet and the coming trends. It's never to late to learn and with the way things are going....I need all the knowledge I can get!!
