If your account keeps expiring, that means you don't post here very often so saying you are going to post elsewhere does not mean much.
No it means I won't be able to post here when I have something to contribute.

Been 4 weeks for me so here's my post so I'm still active.
I went for quite a few months without posting and my account stayed active.
*shrugs*
I don't know for sure, but I think it only expires members with less than a certain number of posts.
It only removes members who havent visited the GWW Community and logged in during the last 60 days.
You dont have to post, you dont even have to read a thread, just login once in a while and the issues you alone seem to be bitching about all the time will go away $0.02

I agree with others who feel that having to post, when you don't have anything to contribute, is not productive to readers of a particular thread.
Not sure why this has to be GWW policy. Does GWW have such a tiny database that it can't handle some silent members? I can understand culling once a year, but every month?

I'm relatively new, so it's good to hear that I have to login once every two months to keep the account active. I'll keep that in mind when things get super busy.
I haven't had time to post much lately either, but I'm still around. :)
I'm more on the photography board now with all the changes comming up but I still read/respond where I can. ( interpreted: I don't get enough "feedback" here so my contributions are becomming less. )

I think it's an absurd rule, this is the only adult webmaster forum that does it. It seems like a childish condition: "You don't post, than you don't get to play with us anymore! Waaaahhhh!" Why even bother, who cares if names fill up the database, or someone does not post for 60 days. $0.02
If I remember correctly, the site owner (Lee) has in fact clarified that you do not need to -post- information, -read- a post, or even send a forum mail/private message. All you need do is log in. I think this is my first post in almost a month and a half, and I'm still kicking around in the database. I've only logged in maybe once every few days to see if something caught my eye, so I would have to assume he knows what he's talking about. (Not that I wouldn't anyway, since so far he's proven to be much more tech-savvy than I)Quote:

Well they emailed me to tell me my account was inactive - I thought they meant suspended, but it was really a question of activity.
