Drunk Sex Content?

I wanted to know your thoughts on this, im actually considering doing some truly genuine drunk sex shoots for a site concept i want to launch on Raunch Revenue in a couple of months time however....

Im in two minds about whether the models should actually be drinking during the shoot or not, one one hand i want the shoot to be as realistic as possible but on the other, i dont want the models to be forced in to doing something they should not have to.

I understand they will be told what the shoot will entail and sign all the required docs and release forms prior to the shoot happening so they *will* be sober when it comes to giving their consent to do the shoot but what do you think about actually getting the 'drunk' during the shoot itself?

I know drink and drugs are typically not liked on a shoot by producers or others in the industry but i strongly feel having the guys getting drunk as the shoot is going on will add a touch of realism to it that it wouldnt otherwise have.

At the same time, liquor and drugs should never be part of a shoot.

How would you folks handle this situation as it directly relates to a set of 7 specific shoots, using specific models who are over 21?

unsafe, unhealthy, bad role models, wrong to "make fun" of drunken individuals. Also model releases I use specifically ask models to acknowledge that alcohol is not used to induce the model's performance.

I wouldn't touch photographing a drunk model for any amount of Bling ... you're asking for trouble.

Typically i would agree with you however, given there are plenty of 'drunk' spring break / mardis gras type sites out there (even some that arent, that type of site, College Sex Parties from TopBucks for example) i think there are exceptions to the rule and i do feel like a really good exception to the rule is going to be doing a shoot specifically for a 'drunk sex' site.

If the models know what is going to happen, the producer does his part and there is someone there to make sure things dont get out of hand etc, it should be okay right?

I mean most producers have their models sign a liability waiver anyway, so long as all the 'legal paperwork' is taken care of prior to the shoot, there shouldnt be any legal issues that arise.

I was going to do a site like this a while back so I registered twobeerqueer.com back in 2006, I let it expired this last February.

I say go with your gut if you have a concept that you think will work.

i agree, as long as the models are aware and you have all the legalities sorted you shouldn't get :whip: in the future.

My personal feelings aside, how drunk do you mean? Are they stewed out of their minds, or just mildly buzzed? Who among us hasn't had a few beers or a few too many glasses of wine before getting it on with someone? Of course, if you're too drunk, "whiskey dick" kicks in and forget about a damn hardon. Viagra could help that I suppose. But then you're mixing drugs with booze. Usually a toxic combination.

I don't think there's anything wrong with the models having a few drinks and giving the "impression" they're hammered. But getting to that point in reality could present a lot of problems. i.e. - Belligerence, illness and of course, legal ramifications if something goes wrong.

Our chavs at UKScallyLads usually have a few beers before fucking their brains out. In fact, it's a large part of our niche. Wouldn't have it any other way.

See thats the thing right there, part of the 'niche' in some aspect is that sometimes the models cant 'get it up' which adds to the realism of the shoot.

Giving prescription drugs on a set would never be something id be involved with so the whole Viagra issue is a moot point for me, my concern is how to effectively sell the niche in the shoots, whilst making sure the talent is looked after and the surfers viewing the content actually wants to buy it.

Lets be honest, most talent in the adult industry arent exactly good at what you would call 'acting' lol

Just a really bad idea.
To ask any model to work on a set where you have to be drinking for real will open you up for law suites in my opinion.
I can see models saying, Oh, I would have never have done that if I was not been told to drunk.
Or if something should happen to your models on the set while they are drunk. Well then your just screwed.

Now if you just have them act drunk like they do on all sets that have drinking in the real movies. Then thats just acting and thats OK.

Oh it certainly would be a good selling niche. No doubt of that. I guess the concept of including alcohol in the mix can be a bit scary for those on the outside looking in. If you can pull it off and it all stays legal, I can't see any problems with it. Just be prepared to deal with a lot of drunk idiots is all. LOL. It's why I don't drink that much anymore or only do it at home and even stay off the damn computer. Believe me!! LOL!!

You may have to hire some bouncers and keep a tight reign on things. If pulled off right though, it could be quite lucrative I would think.

Thats just like saying that a model that is negative that signs all the required documentation to bareback with poz men makes the studio not responsible should they become POZ.


We would never do that. Nor would we ask them to drink to shoot with us.

both our gay and straight college sex party shoots present a wealth of logistical and legal issues--like having to go back and get a full 2257 form for a shoot that was scheduled for posting because one of the "extras" couldn't follow directions and slapped a performer's behind and then legally became a performer too=/
And sadly, that's not the worst of it.

So, it does add realism and it does convert traffic pretty well, but having people inebriated on set will bite you in the behind like an angry badger. Might not be right away, but be mindful that something annoying will happen

If it were challenged, I seriously question whether a release signed when someone is sober would hold up for acts the person performed when they are drunk, if, for example, the model later states that he would never have done such a thing had he been sober.

There are certain rights that one cannot waive, and I'm not certain, but I don't see how one could grant advance approval for acts performed when one is not of sound mind.

Now... what probably *would* hold up is having them sign a release beforehand and signing a second release afterwards, when they are sober, have reviewed the content shot of them while drunk.

For myself, I don't imagine myself ever being ok with shooting that sort of content, but if I were to do so, I would insist that the model review the content the following day and then sign off (and probably have video of them reviewing their drunken behavior and approving of it.) Call me conservative, but that's the approach I'd take.

Also, you might not have legal liability, but you really don't want to get embroiled in a legal battle if a model sees himself on your site and doesn't like what he sees. If he sues, you can bet he's going to name you, along with the primary producer, and you'll end up spending a ton of money trying to get yourself removed from the legal action if it's your site that's displaying the content. Even if you get indemnity from the producer, the indemnity isn't worth shit unless the producer has the cash in hand to pay your legal fees, and most producers I know of that would be willing to shoot this sort of stuff aren't exactly rolling in money.

Hasn't GGW been sued multiple times because the girls claim they were too drunk -- even though they signed the releases?

Even if you have them on film saying they are not drunk -- and there is drinking in the video, someone with some balls could come back and say that you indeed did get them drunk before they signed that release.

If you condone something, in this case drinking, then your defenses pretty much go out of the window. It's hard to argue in the court of law that it's a legitimate business when the talent is clearly inebriated. Too much mixing business with pleasure, IMHO. (yes, I know that's ironic considering what porn is, but still...)

It may be a niche to the content producer and the surfer, but the courts will probably see it as coercion.

All it takes is one [frivolous] lawsuit and all of your profits [and more] can be quickly washed away.

i think if it is done responsibly it will be fine but you need to make sure that the guy you are using for the movies is going to make sure everything is above bord

Some observations (take them or leave them) on this thread.

You're obviously very excited about pursuing this idea. It's not surprising you already have specific, creative ideas about how to execute this, such as not being able to get hard for an effect of realism. If you feel this strongly about it, creativity can lead to incredible things, not to mention attracting a following of like-minded consumers who may really respond to your ideas. Including people who had no idea they'd find this erotic.

On the other hand, this content raises red flags all from the get go. You never know, maybe it'd be smooth sailing, especially at first. Ultimately, the serious risks already described by more experienced webmasters than I really can't be ignored. To be honest, it seems not only terribly risky and possibly dangerous business-wise, but also to the models.

Seems what it boils down to is if anyone is being hurt, and how and who is ultimately going to have the power to define this.

Personally, I wouldn't go near it period. Of course, it is completely your call.

having said that, i think the concept is really hot! God knows i've had some of the hottest sexual experience while drunk and I think many would agree. so why not go ahead with the concept but fake it? there are tons of sites out there who claim things that we all know are not true…but the fantasy of it is just as hot! I think a guy getting fucked while drinking a Bud and claiming that he’s drunk is enough to establish the fantasy...i'd never know if he was really drunk or not either way

Exactly.

Look at some of our sites (some of our top performers amongst them) that are "his first this" "her first that"...the members have often seen the models before on other sites and know it is staged, but it's all about the presentation and the fantasy.
It's like the idea of "suspending disbelief" when going to the theater. We know full well Christian Bale isn't fighting crime in a bat costume, but he sells it. You just need to get a surfer to suspend disbelief for twenty minutes, not two hours =)

I was advised via counsel to shoot the models for SleepingMen before the shoot, showing their ID and stating that they were doing a somnophilia video and going through the scenario step by step.

It would make sense that the same precautions be taken for a drunk sex content site, though I'm not an attorney. :balls:

Maybe document what is happening on the set: start shooting slightly before the scene begins (while preparing for it), through the scene, and continue shortly after it's over. A documentation of how the incoherent collapsed drunk got up and spoke completely sober after the shoot would clearly show what is real verses acting.

Indeed there really is no arguing consent when the model is shown before the shoot, describing in their own words, what is about to happen ;)

that is the minimum any content producer should do. however, that still doesn't stop the model from arguing that after the shooting began, they were "made" to do things that they were not comfortable doing or that they later regretted. so adding alcohol to the equation can only make things worse
