I just did a count, I have 3 but my main one is my laptop. How about you?
One that is up and running that is mine personally, and probably half a dozen in various stages of being stripped down for parts.
All total though we have 3 functional systems in the house.
Personally I have 3 that I use. 1 tower and 2 laptops.
In the house, we have 5 computers that get used on a regular basis and 2 older models we keep around just in case. Not to mention all the old CRT monitors in the basement gathering dust.
I actually have 2 old lcd monitors gathering dust now!
Oh yea ... I have several of those heavy CRT's upstairs. I keep meaning to hire the kid down the street to carry them out to the curb for me. They work -- but after having these lightweight and smaller profile monitors, I can't see me ever using them.
right now I own two, a dek top and a labtop, I hope soon the have one of the smaller notebooks. My chome/work machine is a little out of hand
3, two for regular use, one as a backup. And all with too-full hard drives, lol.
Wanna get a killer new gaming box - but not sure i should, considering the economy.
does my cell phone count since it does as much as my desk top and note book?
I only have two; one for video editing and another for graphic designs
Just 2: a desktop and a laptop.
Just one. I used to have three -- a main computer, a video editing editing computer, and a laptop. Now I just have my main computer. It has two monitors though, something I have found that increases my productivity.

We have 6 working machines in the house right now, two desktops that we pretty much only use for content encoding, 2 laptops we use for everyday stuff and 2 desktops that are sat on our desks that are just 'there' lol

Same as Lee.
2 encoding computers.
1 computer that is only used for DVD editing.
1 computer that does every day to day stuff
2 laptops for when we travel out.
And then 2 computers the others use.
8 in all. Might I add, all HP's. The laptops are Dell. :0)

Speaking of Charities... We gave 2 of our older computers, a all-in-one printer, and a monitor to the SPCA. They gave us a receipt for about $750.00. Nice deduction :toff: So whenever we do get rid of office related stuff, we give it to the local SPCA.
I would like to change my amount to 5... Literally right after i posted in this thread Gary came out of the office telling me his desktop had gone to PC heaven :(

Lee
We've got 13, which includes 3 laptops, and for the most part they are all humming all the time. The only exception is my travel laptop which honestly just sits in the case unless I'm on the road. They are all PC's except for a new MAC Powerbook we are trying out. If they weren't so damned expensive I'd seriously consider switching to the MAC.
