I was talking with a guy about shipping content, and I guess there are certain cities and states that you really want to avoid using the US Postal Service for getting out your shipment. He's saying they even have their own bible thumpers on the sites and ordering dvds for entrapment purposes.
Anyone have a list of these "absolutely avoid" areas?
Search Google for 'adult zip code list' you should find something in the results, you might also want to check out some of the online DVD stores and see where they do not ship too :)

does this mean to that you are not allow to sell porn to certain places from websites or is it just something to do with the regular mail?

If someone legal authority in the US decides to go after you, it really makes no difference where you ship. Take, the Extreme Associates case. An employee of the Department of Justice (DoJ), was sent to Lancaster County, PA. With the help of the US Postal Authorities, he ordered DVD's from Extreme Associates and then they prosecuted in Lancaster Country....Amish Country.
I guess I've always believed that if you are going to be in the adult industry, then you need to be in 100%. If you afraid of the possibility of being prosecuted, then perhaps a career change should be in order.
I can only imagine how many hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of dollars, we would have lost by NOT sending to particular cities, counties or states.

PS......One more thing. It's makes no difference if you ship US Postal, FedEx, UPS, etc.
if the DoJ or a local jurisdiction decides that what you ship is OBSCENITY, then it makes no difference how you ship it. Once it crosses a state line, they will have you for the Interstate Transportation of Obscenity.
At least, so says our attorney.
