How many of you guys out there do just this and don’t have an additional 9-2?
I worked solely for my own production company for the first six years, and four years ago I took a secondary 40hr/week job for additional income.
I still put in approx. 40 hrs. each week with our own company.
I'm a workaholic. :crazyeyes:
so dose that mean your company not making enough for you to live on?
I do have my 9-5 job still, but right now i am thinking to quit it and to start work strictly in online affiliate marketing.

Be damn sure you can live off the very minimum you've made on a month to month basis before signing off on that regular paycheck.Quote:

I used to work a 9 to 5 and then work like anther 40 hours on the blogs and things. since I got sick its been mainly the blogs.
I just signed up for GayWideWebmasters and I just started my site.
I've been a freelancer for the past 12 years, but work just petered out for me this summer.
Fortunately, I've been working on my site for the past 2 years. I'm creating my own content and it's been a real labor of love. And now it's my full-time job. I'm committed to make it work and make a great site.
I'm in with both feet!

I'm working hard on getting the word out about my site. I'm going to spend the next day or two writing to gay porn bloggers and try to drum up some interest in my site and my affiliate program.

I wouldn't call my other job "9-5". I've been self-employed for 8 years now and now have two businesses - a mainstream business and a porn business. The porn business is slowly starting to earn as much as the mainstream business. It will be interesting to see how the year closes out as to which one makes more money. I'm definitely spending more time on porn, but I bill my mainstream clients $90-95/hour, and I'm not nearly to the point of earning that much off porn.

I'm freelancer working for different kinds of clients.
I can't do 9-5 if I want to give good service for my clients. They are around the world and I want to help them quickly when there is something.
This means my working day is spread through out the whole day. Taken my breaks in between. It's good I love my work :)
It sure is.
I had a 9 to 5 job just as I was getting into the adult business, and worked both for the first year or so, but went with this full time when I could no longer keep up with the demand for the adult content and still work my regular job. It's been 10 years now since I went full time with this.
Well i go to school from 9-2 for massage therapy, besides that...its all porn...all the time.
