Will Internext In August Be Your First Show?

Anyone who has added their name to this thread is this going to be the first Internext show you have attended?

If so are there any questions you would like to ask those of us that have been to the shows before?

I know i had so much i wanted to ask at the first show i attended but there was no one i could ask them so here is your opportunity to ask any question, no matter how daft it may be.

Lets see if we can make this convention an ejoyable time for you by answering solving any of your queries :)

Florida will be my first US show after 5 years making and selling porn on the internet.

And I am such a wallflower I am afraid that I won't get the most out of the experience.

On the upside, luckily I can smell out a good party at 18 miles.

This will be my first convention of anything. So should be very fun and exciting!

My boyfriend and I are thinking about going for our first time. I don't really like conventions. Kinda shy too, so that doesn't help. Haha. Looks like a good experience though, especially since we are new at this stuff. Hmmm.

Ah... fresh meat!

This thread reminds me of something we had in college... it was called the "Freshmen Look Book"

It was like a mini yearbook that came out at the beginning of each school year. When students were accepted to the college and declared their intention to attend, they'd mail in new student packets to the college (where they'd put their roommate preferences, register for classes, etc) in include a recent picture of them, usually their high school senior photos.

The Freshmen Look Book would come out with all these pictures of incoming and new freshmen - the point being you'd see if there was anyone new from your hometown or old high school so you could introduce yourself to them or say hey when you saw them around campus.

But in my fraternity house, Freshmen Look Books were like score cards. Guys would pick out the hot freshmen girls and mark the ones they wanted to have sex with and then check off the ones they did have sex with. And each semester we'd take a tally of who did the most freshmen girls and they'd win a prize (usually lots of beer).

It was fun stuff!!

I have a question. What are the prices at the spa? I've looked on the hotel website but they are not listed.

Come to think of it ive never used the spa at the hotel or the hot tub (last year some funky stuff was happening in the hot tub - be warned it may not have been cleaned out)

From what im told though its not to pricey :)

I am going with Tim, who has been to plenty, and I know all about them, so it's not going to be overwhelming or anything.

I probably will have LOTS of questions when I return....

there are always tons of cabs around.

it's quite nearly within walking distance, though. I know several people who stayed at the holiday inn last year or other hotels nearby.

i remember last year we jumped in a cap to the holiday inn to drop someone off who was with us at the westin and the cabbie didn't charge a minimum. cuz it was no skin off his back, it just cost us a couple bucks.

so, lots of cabs. dunno if there's a busline that goes between the two. but they're not far from one another at all and within walking distance. stones throw from one another.

The Holiday Inn is no more than a 5 minute walk to the Westin Gary, Chris and I stayed there last year because we left booking the hotel to late :(

This year we are at the Westin though :)
