First stop: the Sunday night party. Is there a dress code?
It was raining last night, so I didn't walk to the bar party.
But it is now 9:30am, and getting ready to head to the Hotel Praha!
Make that tomorrow.
I'll be leaving for Prague tomorrow morning. Luckily I'm able to go earlier than planned so I should be clear of the evening traffic in Prague and have some time to relax after the trip before I hit the party.
have a good time and get loads of business done too :)
Party was fun. Narrow room, with big butt girls on either side, mean't for careful walking.
Music was a bit loud for the age of the crowd. Got to know a couple of ear lobes fairly intimately.
Met a Russian guy! Webmaster. I'll try to get him hooked up here tomorrow at the Hotel. The Hotel conference room does have WiFi Internet for an Internet themed show, right?
Didn't see Andreas. Saw Holly and Morgan and Graeme and Frank. Spent lots of time with DEVELISH. Looked high and low for Attis.
Went home at 11. 2 hours was a lot of time in a small black box.
Made my own name tag. Gotta have name tags at conferences.
The subway train ride was smooth, as was the 5 minute Tram.
Whatbthe didn't mention is that the hotel is on top of a hill, and the 5 minute walk was up a 45-degree hill.
The vendor booths are starting to pop up in the lower lobby.

Why do people smoke ? Argh
Lots of billing companies here, especially european specific. I think GWW should start adding more vendors.
The other vendor niche here is traffic buying and selling.
Lunchtime. Not much to et
Lot of half naked girls. No half naked guys.
Lunch left me hungry. No other food in the hotel, so I came home. Done for the day.
Next time, I will pack some snacks.
I really wonder where everyone was? We were told to go to the downstairs Lobby. Vendors were setting up posters, marking their territory amongst the lobby chairs. I visited with 2 billing companies, and 1 traffic seller. After the half-naked girls left the Fleshjack area, I visited with Fleshjack Sarah.
Skipped the area with the posters of the naked girls.
That was about it.
Epoch had a poster, but I saw Frank last night, and I knew he wasn't coming back until later this afternoon. Guy in a Verotel shirt was smoking a cigarette, so I knew I wasn't going to go talk with him.
If you subtract out the half naked girls handing out flyers, I didn't see all that many people with name badges.
I stayed busy chatting, but there were quite a few looking like they were totally lost.
Too bad there weren't more hospitality people to guide attendees around looking for sponsors, and more of a road map to sponsors.

Will be staying until Sunday 25th for "vacationing"
DEVELISH
I sure enjoyed chatting with you as well. It's good to get away from the keyboard on-line, and meet people face-to-face.
Your BF is cute.
I enjoyed talking with the Moscow webmaster who we should be meeting here soon. And watching him fight with the IOS spell corrector as he was trying to type his details into my iPhone4 notepad!!
I also enjoyed asking Fleshjack/Fleshlite Sarah: "Where's the dancing boys?"!
I'll be here until Dec 1.
Then, as we discussed last night - Tel Aviv !?! Gotta start working on that, next!
I thought - and still do - that the roaming picture takers last night and today were very evil in their style, invasiveness and aggressiveness. Very unpleasant looking and acting people, very disruptive, somewhere between a dark cloud and a Dementor.
A camera is a tool, not a weapon, bastards. And, you are on private property, no matter who you work for, so privacy rules apply.
I didn't go back today.
I stayed home and watched my Vendors do a very good job selling my minutes.
