I just did a search for the term "content sellers" here on this forum and nothing came up! I only searched in thread titles so maybe that's why.
Maybe it would be quicker if I just ask here... is there anyone still selling gay original content? I'm interested in high def solo scenes, mostly non-exclusive. No twink stuff.

My problem with DVD content is that most of it seems to be older stuff not shot in HD and also does not include hi-res photos. I think surfers today expect both of these things in a membership site.
There are also plenty of sites that offer AEBN streaming titles and these sites cover the DVD niche very well so why compete against that? Those are just my opinions so I could be wrong.
I also wonder about the 2257 records... do you get all of these when you license a DVD?
By the way, I did check the Buy/Sell forum and I just saw a new post from Rainbow Media. Their content looks nice so I'm wondering if there is anyone else out there like them.
I also saw an older post from MaxxAdult but none of the links on their site work so I wonder if they're still in business. I'll have to try emailing them.

Every content has its audience and so does DVD
Why do you think all big companies have thousands of dvd content licensed?
I always like to repeat what Dave from pimproll once said.They buy exclusive to attract surfers and non-excluisve (big volumes) to keep them at their sites.
DVD content for you might be like you described but for most of the time it's not for the surfer, as they don't look at the porn every day as much as we all do, so standards are different :)

There is crap content out there. A LOT OF IT. You just have to beware.
It's all about how you plan to promote / market your site. How your site is laid out, it's really all about you.
Like I said, our sites have both exclusive and non-exclusive content. We process 50+ sales per week per site. Our conversions per site are right around 1:319'ish. Obviously, it's working for us. Maybe you too?
Also, keep in mind... Vintage, old content is coming back. Even pre-condom.
