I heard a rumor that you guys are waiving the Visa fee.
Is this true?
If so you might have a couple of new processing accounts from GWW members winging your way later today and tomorrow :)

Lee

Do they accept european users?
Just sent them an email :) Worth a go. Verotel are good, but i heard epoch/paycom are a lot better
It's true.
Epoch is waiving (actually, paying) the Visa registration fee for any new account that gets a contract signed with us this week.
It's a helluva deal for the smaller programs and a sweet deal for anyone to get a back-up processor without spending the extra bucks.
Anyone who's interested should call us at 888-627-3888 or email sales@paycom.net.
(The answer is 42. Today's color is plaid)
Currently... no.Quote:

:yeah:
Rand..
Forgive my sceptisism but.. are there any 'conditions' to this deal in addition to the regular T.O.S for Epoch?
Regards,
Lee
Nope.
Clean.
Easy.
And for a limited time only.
Get'em while their hot.
Wow...very good...ok, we'll be checking you out for sure.
Yes, this is a good question Lee....I'm always a skeptic, except I have always had positive experiences with paycom!
Awesome stuff Rand
So basically, we call you guys, give you our info and then what happens? Could you explain the process briefly for those of us considering taking you guys up on this offer :)
Regards,
Lee
That's really cool
just sent an email

Argh! That's the boring stuff...
But....
You call us up, ask for an account rep, (they are quite busy today I might ad so please understand if you have to hold for a couple of minutes), tell them you heard about the FREE account set-up offer, and then you'll just have to answer a few questions. Oh... yeah... we'll be happy to answer your questions too. ;-)
And then..... we'll send you a contract via email. You print it out, sign it, and send it back to us.
All pretty simple really. :center:
Operators are standing by.
Sorry, but we're out of the Ginsu knives.
Damn... what a sweet deal! :high: I wish we could take advantage of it... we're looking for a new secondary biller as well... :|
No U.S. corp I take it?Quote:

FYI, EU Visa does not charge the $750 fee. But it would be nice to see Epoch accepting EU entities. Jettis used to, are they still accepting new clients? Rand?Quote:

rand - do we need a site already in place in order to get started? i'll convert one of my avs sites... how long do we have to get the site up?
Since Epoch doesn't, I guess it is okay to mention that these guys do, eCommerceGlobal - Tell them baddog sent you and save 1% - also, there are no setup feesQuote:

We are looking at supporting a solution for the EU region but I don't have any more info to offer on that just yet.Quote:

As for Jettis, to my knowledge they are not processing for the EU anymore under an IPSP model.
Would this be a viable solution for a main processor? and do I have to have a site ready or just own the domain names and sites in progress??
Rand,
I talked to paycom/epoch several months ago but I recall that the agreement was really tough an wholey in favor of them, not me. It even included international currency exchange rates.
Has this changed to be more simplified? I may be interested if so.
nah, no u.s. corp, our company is based in the u.k. :specs:Quote:

It would be wonderful if everyone would stop ignoring Canada. We have 32 million people in this country and that's a lot of porn-buying power. And aside from the processing issues, if someone would actually market their site membership fees toward a country with a $1.42 U.S. exchange, they'd make a killing and so would the processor.
Right now we have no processors who will handle adult sites in Canada.

Epoch is the primary processor for the vast majority of its clients. The offer to waive the set-up fee (at Epoch's expense) is for either type of scenario; you choose whether to use our services as either the primary or back-up processor. The only clause to this may be that we may not allow you to co-process with a gateway that we feel might jeapordize your ability to continue your processing with us. We happily work with programs that use CCBill as your back-up processor.Quote:

Your site does not need to be ready to get a contract initiated and take advantage of our offer, but, you do have to have your site complete before you can pass Visa compliance and begin processing.
I'll agree that our contract is pretty specific, but it is that way to protect our entire portfolio of clients as much as it is to protect Epoch. Remember, we have a long term vision in a high-risk market.Quote:

I do not know the specifics of the contractural changes of recent months but I can put you in touch with someone who can answer any question you might have about our agreement.
AJ - Hold on. When we know more about a possible EU solution I'll be sure to post on GayWideWebmasters.Quote:

It's not that processors don't realize the potential for business with our northern neighbors, but there are complications.Quote:

For now, the only alternative I'm aware of is to move to the U.S. if you want to be a sponsored merchant in an IPSP program.

I just called Paycom to take advantage of their offer! WooHoo! I saved the $750 fee and I'm gonna sign up for ePassport, too!
Thanks for spreading the word about the offer.
How does Epoch feel about processing for a bareback and fisting site?
So far as I know.... there are no compliance issues with those *particular* kinds of sites *as long as* they do not also include bondage.Quote:

We've seen sites rejected for bondage when there was also penetration because the content could be considered rape.
So.... there you have it!
