We have a Black Labrador puppy (1 year old) trying to find a pic of her but cant find one so ill let GA post it in the morning when he sees this thread lol
As for the present i beleive she has a HUGE Nylabone from the in-laws and we'll end up buying her a heap of toys again lol

I have a dog named Halford. He's got so many toys, mostly ripped to shreds, that I don't think he needs anything else.
Besides, Christmas just makes me wanna hide under a blanket.

I love buying stuff for Liquorice. It doesn't have to be for Christmas but since we do not have children, she does get the focus as if she was our child. I'm not looking for any psychological analysis here - my former therapist used buy her cats chanukah presents.
I don't know... it's the excitement SHE brings when you get her something. She's like a kid on Christmas morning normally when she get's a new toy.
Hey I guess since we really don't have a lot of children to buy for. And even those we do, we don't get to see them on Chirstmas. This way we do get to have a little excitement on Christams morning watching an 75 lbs puppy (and she's not done growing) get all funny with everything around here.

Molucaan Cockatoo: Jasper
3 Cats: Silo, Scooter, and Ally
For Christmas I will have another bird in the house, a 18 pound turkey, but that will be for a limited time and mostly to scare the shit out of my cockatoo just to let her know who's boss around the house!!!
For the cats, well they get food, and the chew toy will be the tin foil bunched up.
I love big birds.. they're so much more devoted to you than cats, and even a lot of dogs.
I miss my parrot. Lost him in my last divorce.

I have 2 Siberian Huskies and a Beagle... don't ask me about the Beagle :)
Shadow And Eclipse are the Huskies and Molly is the Beagle.
Everyday is a holiday for them :)

We also have 2 finches, 1 parakeet (Madonna) and 2 Cockatiels (Phoenix and Torri), 3 more cats (Squeaks, Khali and Sadie), and a cannabilistic Ghourami (who ate through $30 of tankmates in one nite).
Normally, we do give them a stocking, and they have a ball opening their own gifts of chew toys and snaks, but this year things are pretty tight ... soooo, not sure what they'll get.

We lost our 16-year-old cat in June to kidney failure. Right in the middle of Toronto's pride week. We lasted two days in an empty apartment, and on Friday, we went to the Humane Society and adopted sibling kittens.
I spent a lot of my Pride weekend carting them back and forth between home and the Humane Society because they had a bit of kennel cough.
Two days after Christmas, they'll be eight months old.
My partner and I have had a horrible year, the worst ever, with all kinds of nasty things happening, but these guys have brightened things up tremendously.
We named them with Swahili names.
Oji is the female and her name means bearer of gifts.
Kito is the male and his name means precious.
Both of them have been to the top of the Christmas tree and back down again.

This is one of my kids pee wee . its good to see I am not crazy , thinking of buying my dog a gift . I have a cat as well . and he hasn't had soft food in a yr or so . he is on a dry food diet, and he still is huge, so his gift is a nice bowl of soft food and a big bag of catnip . Peewee gets chicken or maybe a teddy bear. I might regret the chicken idea . I gave him chicken about 2 months ago and he decided to diva out on me and not eat unless it was chicken .

It all depends how small a one bed room we are talking. If its a Manhattan one bedroom I say crazy. kidding
I am assuming this response is for you and not a general question,
I don't see size being a factor with Mystic's size, however Mystic being 9 mths will probably be very territorial and all about her space, a puppy will not understand this, so you should at least be able to have clear separate areas for them to start. You don't want mystic being jealous and fighting for your love by beating the baby. I don't know how much beating up she will do at her petite size but she will try lol.
Then the other thing is the first meeting, I say if you are getting the dog from a breeder you should take mystic to visit the dog there, or bring home something with dogs scent, so Mystic kinda warms up.

This is my baby. Her name is Pudgy, and I think she's a DOM. You put her in a room with male dogs, no matter their size, and you'll find them in a corner hiding with her humping them like she's a big strapping man. lol
She understands English and Indonesian. lol (Who said dogs aren't smart.) She normally gets a turkey leg, and a new chew toy on the holidays. She's spoiled, she won't even eat dog food unless you heat it up for her. (The BF does that for her.)
