The mention of the Hollywood Internext in August started a whole mess of fur flying a while back but... Who is attending? Pre-registration ends in only 16 days!!! I still think that my partner and I will be attending (if I don't shoot him first.) Just curious about who else I might have met from the Phx forum will be there.
Like I'd miss THAT...

I thought that rule only applied to carry on luggage. Didn't realize they meant check-in baggage also. Thats so dumb! You can't carry a lighter on the plane, but you CAN have two books of matches.Quote:

Uh huh... the envelope. I guess I was worried about the TSA going through my luggage and had hidden the envelope in the book and then forgot about it.

Booked the hotel already (didn't get into the hotel last year and regretted it)....but am still not sure. Good to know I have until June 15th to make up my mind.
It would be great to see Phoenix friends plus others I have met there!

Just booked my hotel room as well. Boynation brought up a good point about not being able to get a room there last year so even though I haven't bought my internext tickets yet, I thought it best to make sure I had a place to stay there.
Of course I made a mistake while making the reservation so I decided to call and have the corrections made. On the same site where you make your reservations there is a button that says talk to an operator (or something like that) and it was the coolest damn thing I've seen. You click the button, type in your phone number, click "talk now" and your phone rings. When you answer your phone you are already connected to the hotel. I've never seen this before.
(ok so maybe its not the "COOLEST" thing, but hey.. Its the little things that excite me. :dunce:
I'll be there... Can't wait. I love Ft. Lauderdale area. Great beaches.
