I am thinking about using one of those electronic fax services instead of a regular fax machine. I really don't have a very high volume of faxes--most of what I do is sent electronically already.
I am finishing my move into the virtual office, so I want to be able to view my faxes from anywhere even if I am not in Phoenix.
Does anyone have real world experience with services like E Fax Pro or something similar?

Receiving efaxes I think is really really easy--you can see them on screen and then print them out if needed.
How about sending them? If I have 5 sheets of paper I want faxed, I have to scan them first and get those images to my computer so I can send them as a fax, right??
Yup, gotta scan 'em first. Most of the stuff I was faxing was stuff that I was creating right there on my computer. Otherwise, you have to scan them.Quote:

I use UReach.com. I think it might be a lil more expensive than EFax (which I used to use). Haven't used EFax for a long time, I got annoyed by it as it used to require their software be installed on their application in order to use it, where Ureach will take upload of a Word document and automatically fax it out (complete with signature, if you've scanned and inserted it into the Word doc as a graphic).
As for receiving, Ureach will, I think, automatically forward the faxes to your email, or hold them in its web-based mail service. It also has the added advantage of allowing you to use Ureach to handle call routing... used to its fullest, you give people your Ureach number, Ureach email and Ureach fax, and you have only one place where you receive everything, which is nice if you travel a lot.
