is there a way to search the blogs to find other webmasters' blogs to read?

There isnt YET but there will be in the next week to ten days.

We're currently having a bunch of mods installed and one of them will enable you to search other blogs :)

We're also looking at implementing a referral program of sorts on GWW Blog to.
