request from them for non blacked out ID. i am concerned as i want my
content to remain compliant with all US laws. does anyone else here sell
content through ounique?

Quite a few of their clients are waiting on news about this too

Isn't it amazing that here in the land of the "free" they can just change their minds about something was perfectly fine for years and then expect everything to change almost overnight simply because some asshole decides it should change...while the rest of the world continues?
Are we stupid or what? I think we are...God Bless The USA!

Greetings:
Like I mentioned before, they got back to me within 1 week of writing them, with IDs for EVERYTHING i've ever bought from them.
Maybe I got my request in before the rush?
JustMe - i don't think frank is talking about getting i.d. for content he bought. i believe (and i could be wrong) that he gave ounique only blacked out i.d. for the models in the sets he sells there, and they haven't asked him for other copies of the i.d.s.
Ex post facto law is unconstitutional. By all rights, the FSC should have no trouble getting the retroactive part of the regs stricken. But who knows. The other day I woke up to find out "Deep Throat" was a criminal and a traitor and his motives were suspect, and that Woodward and Bernstein weren't all that important to breaking the Watergate story, and Richard Nixon was somehow not so bad as I thought he was, and 2+2=5...Originally Posted by MiamiB
That's right. Most of the stuff i gave to ounique had addresses and phone numbers of models blanked out. I am appalled that the US government is so cavalier about the possible harm that could come to models from the wide release of their home addresses. The only saving grace is that most models i film are not at the same address or number when i try to contact them 6 months later.
Early on, before we started www.GayAdultPhotos.com , we sold our sets through Ounique. Due to privacy concerns of our models we always blacked out the models address, phone #., and DL number. I'm assuming that many photographers did that and that Ounique may have a real problem getting new releases from all of the hundred, if not thousands, of photogaphers they have dealt with over the years.
Ounique is far too professional of an organization to be ignoring requests from webmasters. I'm guessing they are hoping (praying) that the FSC is successful in their quest for an injunction while at the same time beginning the process of contacting current and previous photographers.
By the way, did everyone see the FSC News Release yesterday where they announced they would be filming the injunction no later than the end of next week?

"Filming the injunction" ... geez, I hope they take copies of the proper docs and store them in the proper place ... hehe ... sorry, I couldn't resist.Originally Posted by hdkbill

I thought the EXACT SAME THING!! I'm seeing all this spin, and all these reports and I'm like WHAT?? Is this really happening? Nixon isn't bad, the church & state are one and the same, nude statues are being covered with cloth and people filming porn have to post their addresses on their world wide websites :wacko:Originally Posted by Matt D
