Do You Do Better With VOD Or Paysites?

I've just been looking over our stats for last month and was quite surprised to see there was only a slight difference in the volume of sales (actual sales not dollar amounts) between video on demand sponsors and paysite sponsors.

Has anyone else noticed whether or not their ppv / vod sales are comparable to paysite signup volumes?

It largely depends on the way in which you are promoting, but for most people VOD sales mushroom and Pay Site Sales are somewhat static.

The longer you promote VOD the more sales.

I'm always biased since I run Hotmovies, but my traffic generally converts around 1 in 30 for VOD, 1 in 200 for pay sites (unless I hit on something hot - sometimes a pay site will convert incredibly well for me for a few weeks)

i never really got the hang of selling vod. i do better with paysite memberships - if the site is good...

i would also like to hear the answer to this. so far, i have primarily
sold paysite memberships, but VOD seems like something for surfers who
don't want to risk recurring billing.
