    Encoding photos

Is there a way to encode a photo (much like a video stream) so that it cannot be viewed unless the surfer is logged into the site he has joined, to view it ?

You do realize by 'gay' I mean a man who has sex with other men?

Not that i know of although, i shouldnt imagine it would be to difficult.

If you are just wanting to stop the images from 'leaking' out of your members areas, you could always place them in a cell behind a transparent .gif

    Nope, can't be done!
If the user can view it, he can save it - it's already on his computer.

You can make it a little harder like Lee suggests, but chances are,
you'll just annoy everybody into not renewing their membership.

Better to insert a small logo/URL, so if someone steals it and spreads
it around, you'll benefit from the free marketing - that's something!

There are several methods you can use to make it very difficult to save photos, but the fact is that surfers have made it very clear that they want to be able to save material to their computers.

Sites that deploy such limits always end up going back to the old way.
