I Wonder? Do You Use RSS Feeds On Your Sites?

Just wondering if anyone here uses and RSS feeds on their sites and if you found them to be of any use in making your sites 'stickier' for the surfer?

We're looking at a couple of new projects right now and utilizing a couple of RSS feeds will make things a lot easier for us with them however, i dont want to use an RSS feed if its going to have a negative effect on traffic flow to the site.

Any feedback you folks can offer in respect of this would be appreciated

    Regards,

    Lee

I've only used them for blogs. It has been usefull as the feeds have been picked up at various feed sites and traffic I might not have seen otherwise has come to read the entries and check out the rest of the sites.

I only publish a synopis on the feeds, (not the full entry) that way the people who decide to subscribe to the feed have to come to the site to read the whole entry.
