    Anyone had experience with I-Friends?

Just wanted to find out if anyone has delt with I-Friends and could post either positive or negative comments here. I have been talking with them about a potential relationship and wanted to find out from the board anything that I should know ahead of time.

    Thanks!

In what context? As a studio or an affiliate?

wonder how someone like ifriends will deal with 2257.. some of those boys do some pretty explicit things.... and of course the info must be passsed to affiliate webmasters if they use any content from the site... AND, they have to record every live session and keep it for 7 or more years.. whew... i bet their attorney's are having fun right now...

They've always skirted the 2257 requirements in the past by claiming "secondary producer" status. If the new secondary producer regs stick, then they will be in a really tough position, same for imlive and flirt4free, webcamnow, etc.

I think similar problems will arise for sites like bigmuscle.com, dudesnude.com, not to mention anyone with an explicit picture in their yahoo profile.

I personally think sites like iFriends deserve exemption since the camop's are not official employees, nor is "adult entertainment" being sold directly. They are selling time, and iFriends has no control over the live video contents that time is used on.

The network really is just a vehicle for the camop's to broadcast their own video services. iFriends does not produce it, and they technically don't sell it. Paysites are essentially the prostitutes and iFriends is the escort service.

I think they should have the same protections as a SE, message board or chatroom service.

The comments area of 2257 gave an example of a man mailing his wife a video of themselves and it didn't have to be compliant since it was for non-commercial use. There's certainly nothing commercial about a guy putting a nude on his profile unless it's a spam profile. Same goes for those other profile sites.

I tried to put some Asian boys on Webcam with them about a year ago and found their customer service was awful. It would take days or even weeks to get a response from them, and the process to get them on cam was so difficult (and support so poor) that I finally gave up on the idea.

I do know some people that used to make huge money with them, but I think they got too big and stopped caring about their affiliates/clients. It's too bad in a way, as I think it could have made a lot of money.

As one of the biggest studios for Flirt4Free, I can tell you Flirt4Free is fine and has all ID etc on file.

In addition we at Men Of Steel (BoysCondo etc) are all set as well.
