I Wonder? What Format Of Image Do I Need For Tshirts?

    Specifically, the GWW logo?

Can i send over a bmp or jpg and if so, will that work or does it need to be in a different format?

    Regards,

    Lee

It depends on how the shirt is being printed. If it's a thermal transfer, you can use a .bmp or .jpg and they will just print it onto the transfer material and heat-apply it to the shirt.

If it's screen printed, most printers will prefer color separated images (high-res .tif or vector art) or a .psd file in layers, one color per layer.

And if it's screen-printed 4 color process (i.e., full color), then there are only a few screen printers who can do this well, and they generally want a high-res .tif so they can do their own color separations... this tends to be expensive unless you're getting a ton of shirts printed.

    Hope that helps.

Thanks for the info Chip appreciate it

I never realized it could get so tricky to have a few hundred t-shirts printed up LOL
