    Classifieds & Personals

    Just a quick note for those that may of not thought about it as we did.

    We have a Classifieds Ad section on two of our public sites where people can upload photos. Some of them upload explicit images. The same with our Personals on another website we have.

    We don't have the time to "approve" each uploaded ad and/or image for any of these sites.

    Do you?

    We've turned off the option to upload photos at this point on the Classifieds Ad sections.

    Not sure what we're going to do with the Personals, but we need to make a decision before the 23rd.

    have you consulted an attorney? i'm sure at least a couple have experience in this exact area. as far as i know, having those pics up was never legal, but obviously a lawyer would know far more...

    Wasnt there something in the new regs about this?

    I beleive you still need to have the docs for user uploaded images or, at least be able to prove you took reasonable steps to ensure the pics are featuring persons over 18.
