Input on new Squirtit.com flash interface please

This is a new flash interface being designed for squirtit.com. A lot of links don't work, but could I get your opinion on whats been done so far please?

It has sound etc. I also have an HTML version that isn't quite ready for review.

What's your opinion the good, bad & ugly ?

That being said, id make sure you offer your surfers the HTML version before the Flash version, a lot of them still dont have Flash installed and its only by chance i was able to view it as i only installed Flash a week or two ago to check out a couple of clients banners LOL

Ok, I'm going to be the asshole here, and the odd man out:

Personally, and keep in mind this is just my opinion, I think that the flash mumbo jumbo sterilizes your content way too much. It takes what is very high quality and very hot content, and turns it into something that almost has a "clinical" feel to it.

To go out on a limb and take a guess, I'd say that this tour will have a significantly worse conversion than the one that you currently have in place.

If it were me, I'd just spend a bit sprucing up your existing tour, which I think is well on its way to being golden as is. I'd fix up some graphics, remove the top navigational stuff out of frames, stuff like that. I really think that's all it needs.

I think if anything, flash has its place as elements in a design, but not as the foundation of it.

But this is all just IMHO, and remember, I'm a n00b in this industry, so take what I say with a grain of salt.....

JustMe.. I was thinking along the same lines as you.. that the design is sterilizing the content a bit much.

Does anyone else feel the design is a bit sterile for the content?

I almost feel like odd woman out here - with JustMe seeing the same thing I did ... it's too cold looking. And there wasn't that much happening with the flash format to keep the surfer on site. Your other tour is much hotter, just needs tightened up some.

I also don't think a full flash site/tour works for porn, unless you're doing a hardcore gaming or animation site of some sort. I also don't think flash pages get much attention from Search Engines, though I hear that's supposed to change at some point. :shifty:

I think it looks good. Kindof between classy and professional. With any flash site you should test it out and see how signups are with it.
