Is It Possible To Take Screen Grabs From European Encoded DVDs?

Im in the process of getting a bunch of exclusive Euopean gay porn dvds sent over for web use but am totally unsure as to whether or not im going to be able to capture images and movie clips from them LOL

Anyone know if its possible to do this?

It can definitely be done Lee. I have done it with some old programs I dont have anymore. But I have been finding lot of new tools out there since i got my pocket pc and capture stuff for it. I'll check with my tech buy and see if i can get the latest tool he is using.

shouldn't be a problem at all.

You'd have to make sure you told your program it was getting a PAL signal if it didn't do that automatically, but aside from that, you should have no trouble at all.

Whilst Lee's on this subject what is everyone using for this scenario........ want to take a quick jpeg grab (just one) of multiple .mpg files. Ie open a up each .mpg file in windows media player and be able to take a full sized jpeg grab view.

I have tried lots of different programs and alot either provide and take a too small image or quality is bad.

Any suggestions ?
